I'm totally new to this but figured I'd try it out....I love music - all kinds - used to be a drummer through the 80's and 90's in the heyday of the Flats. I love going to see live bands, dancing, and reading - thrillers, mystery, horror. I have a book in hand always. I love horror movies but not slasher films. LOVE Halloween and going to haunted houses - yes even still at my age. I don't think that I feel, look or act my age, but I am certainly not immature. My friends say I am honest - sometimes to a fault but I'd rather be honest than to tell someone something that isn't true. I love the outdoors, love horseback riding, fishing (catch and release), hiking, biking, and roller-skating - I have outdoor roller skates. I love amusement parks but I also love to just chill with a fire in the fire-pit and watch the stars or watch movies at home. I have two boys ***aged ***very much a surprise but the best kind) and I decided I loved being a mother so much that I adopted another son, who is now 7. I am divorced - never had children with my ex, but he adopted my boys. I work from home as a medical transcriptionist so that I can raise the boys myself - along with help from my friends, mom, step-dad, and my ex.****I am DEFINITELY not looking for games, flings, hook-ups, one night stands or anything of the sort. I am looking for someone easy going, fun, playful, comfortable in pretty much any setting, family-oriented, willing to try new things, understanding, HONEST, FAITHFUL, and if it all works out in the end someone who might want to share a life together - a life of laughter an fun mostly. I'm sick of drama, guys who just want to get in my pants - I have a brain, feelings, thoughts and opinions - and liars. SO if you are one of the above last sentence, no need to bother ***

People always say that communication is important. And while I agree, I think that should be defined. I am outgoing, inquisitive and enjoy being around people. In fact I have very little problem communicating with anyone about almost any topic and in any style, ie: ***, IM's, texting, phone conversations, face to face, in small or large groups and one on one. For me that is pretty easy to do and I do enjoy those styles of communcation. But I think there is more to my saying that communication is important. If you 'get that' and can relate, then we may want to communicate further. :) Okay I think many of you don't understand what I meant... I did not mean that when you asked for my number and I give it to you that I want to text back and forth without ever talking. It also amazes me how many of you feel it okay to text and or type in messages here about having , wanting, or how great they are in bed with someone that they've NEVER met in real life! My kids are college graduates and I am ready to share my life with someone. The questions here are a bit funny... Yes, I have a car and I actually DO know how to drive it lol... the want kids question: I want the kids I have and would like to be friends with the kids of someone I am dating, but I do not want to have any more children.I want to be with someone who makes me smile from the inside out. I try to look at the best in each day and share smiles and laughter with those around me. I'm independent, a hard worker, honest, and playful. I love to try new things. Family and friends are important to me. Being a hopeful romantic, I believe in relationships, faithfulness, and being in love. I know that there also must be "the chemistry", AKA "passion". I enjoy intelligent, fun and witty conversations. Even better if one contains all three features! It would be nice, no, NECESSARY for me to meet someone with good morals and values. I really want someone who is naturally 'good'. Someone who is honest, trustworthy, outgoing, creative, attractive and FUN. (Remember ... all of these qualities are relative ... what I may consider attractive, fun, and creative another may not) Since honesty is important... I have a preference for men who are tall. I would like to meet someone who is happy, energetic, and a great communicator with a sense of humor. He doesn't have to be perfect, just perfect for me. Besides, perfection is over rated.... except for the perfect kiss! :) Please include a photo, it's only fair as I have photos posted. Thanks* note * someone who has good morals and values, doesn't make them a PRUDE. :)I don't just want a man to live with, I want a man I can't live without. My philosophy on "dating" is "I'm meeting a new person. No Expectations, (besides the obvious one: Non-married, non stalker, non drug user, male with manners!), just meet and see what happens from there. Oh and this is probably a deal breaker... I'm allergic to cats and bees... so cat owners and beekeepers are probably not a good match! :) Not sure why so many men suggest a walk for a first date? I think it's the worst first date for anyone because of safety issues, as well as it's difficult to look one another in the eyes. I prefer meeting someone at a place where we can talk and hear one another. Now... if we hit it off after our first meeing... then I'd get excited about the "FIRST DATE". I also believe that it isn't about WHERE you are but more important is WHO you're with.I've met only a couple of men from this site... That being said: Men: Please don't lie... what purpose does that serve, except to send a red flag immediately. Please have recent pictures and do not lie about your age in your profile, and even if it were a mistake and you said you can't change your age, easy suggestion is to make a new profile!! While sex is important in a relationship I do not want to have sex with you the first time we meet!!
