About Me

I guess I will give this another shot!!! I'm 47. Divorced. Mother of 2. My daughter is 20. She is my best friend. My son is 12. I share custody of him. My children mean the world to me.I work. 28 years of service with the federal government. IT Specialist. What am I looking for? First and foremost, he must have a great sense of humor. I love to laugh and cut up. If I put Saran wrap over the toilet bowl on April Fools Day....deal with it!!! (My son never knows what to expect next!!!!) (So the cat is out of that bag on that prank...I'll think of something!!) He must have a job, or means of support for himself. If I gotta work, so does he! He must not do illegal drugs. He must not have his mug shots on the internet. (I will check.) He must not be obese. (I weigh ***lbs, I will break.) He must be sweet and kind to animals because mine are going to pounce on him as he walks through the door. It's in their nature. They love company! He must also love children. I am the "Cool" mom, so I sometimes have a house full! What he will get from me? Humor, smiles, kisses, texts to let him know that I am thinking of him. (If those kisses lead to more.... I've read the "50 Shades of Grey" all 3 books! Silk ties...Something to try. Are you up to it?) I know how to cook, I mow the yard, I clean the house and pay this bills. I'm pretty good with a hammer and screwdriver. I will admit that I don't know squat about cars. That is what Jiffy Lube and Auto Zone are for. He will get a woman that knows which fork to use and when. However, he will get a woman that will sit on the tailgate of a truck and gaze at him around a fire in the middle of a field. Something about a truck and an ice cold beer! What not to expect? I will not sit in your deer stand at some God awful hour waiting on you to kill Bambi's Mom or Dad. I don't eat meat. Get your Guy friends to go with you! That is what you have them for! If we go fishing and you have a "catch them and clean them policy", I will adopt my "catch and release policy". I love to go camping....as long as electricity and water are involved. I hear they have that at most campgrounds now! A hair dryer is a girls second best friend!! You figure out the first best friend!I love country music, but can listen to anything.End of all deal...He has to like UK Basketball. He may regret watching it with me.....And his ears may burn a little bit (I lose my ladylike status...Sprained ankle last season.) But if they win......Might be a good celebration afterwards!!!!Hope that my profile has caught your attention. No movies, please. They frown on talking! If you don't want to talk to me, then don't ask me out! Otherwise, lunch, walk in the park, drinks, dinner...or whatever you come up with!

Woman. 50 years old. Zodiac sign: Taurus.

Looking for: man. In age: 47-57

I am 49 years old. Don't smoke and am not interested in dating a smoker, so if you do, well, sorry. Just being honest. I love my family and friends. Both kids are on their own. I have a 7 year old grandson who is a huge part of my life. And a 9 month old Granddaughter. Love my dog. My horse is one of my best friends. I love spending time with them. Love music, the theater, movies, the cider mill, yard sales, flea markets, thunder storms (the louder the better), amusement parks, fishing, hiking, camping, street festivals, pretty much anything that takes me outside. And although some people find it strange, I enjoy wandering, respectfully through a cemetary. Mostly older cemetaries. I find History to be facinating...and hey, there is a lot of history to be learned in a cemetary. I actually do more than just play with my horse on the farm where he lives. But I don't have many pictures of myself. Seems I am usually the one taking the pictures. I am a bit on the old fashioned side. Therefor I respect myself and need to be respected. And I highly respect the man in my life. I had been working at the same job for over 22 years as a school bus driver. I loved that job, but it was outsourced this year and we all lost our jobs. I have since started a new career woring as a Courier for Fed Ex Express. I am still really green at this job. I haven't even finished my training and I am in "Information Overload" at this time. I enjoy working hard so I am sure I will do fine in this job. But you should know, I work afternoons. Starting at around 3:00pm and not getting off work until after 9:30. Making me mainly only available on the weekends. :( I also have a farm/in-home pet care business. People are not traveling as much these days though. I was married just over 21 years when I filed for divorce. I can go the long haul...just need an equal commitment. I believe that the greatest gift we have been given in life is our time. How we use it or share it is up to us alone. So our time is also the greatest gift we can give to another as well. I love to laugh...so a good sense of humor is a must. My folks have been married over 54 years and they say to make a relationship work...you must have God and Respect. Then the rest, like attraction, laughter, love.. just falls into place. I hope I can find someone to spend the rest of my life with. I want a sounding board, confidant, buddy, playmate, lover, partner and best friend. However, to be honest, I am not sure I ever want to actually remarry. Will have to play it by ear and see what happens. Just so you know, I do not live on the farm where the pictures are taken. If you are looking for a wealthy girl, I am not her. LOL I tried to go back and edit my profile to add that I don't want to have a long distance relationship, but it doesn't want to offer me that option anymore. Just too busy to do a lot of driving and gas is far too expensive. This is not a hard rule, if you are close to that 30 mile distance. Also, correct me if I am wrong, but isn't "currently seperated" the same as "currently married"? Please, be single or divorced.I just don't get into dating someone married. Just a recipe for disaster if you ask me.I'm a Handful-I am strongwilled, independant, a bit outspoken, and I tell it like it is. I make mistakes, I am sometimes out of control, and at times hard to handle, but I love and give with all of my heart. If you can't handle me at my worst, then you sure don't deserve me at my best. Love going to lunch or dinner. Somewhere we can sit and chat. Without having to yell over the music.
