I have a pretty good professional resume, but have never put together a personal one.... I am adventurous and fun-loving but analytical, inquisitive, spiritual and intellectual. I have a rich combination of contradictory traits that makes me complex, but not complicated, interesting and intense but down to earth. Quick to smile. One of my favorite things in life is a stimulating conversation. But I also like to be alone, to be silly sometimes, to laugh, to read and to watch a beautiful movie. I love to be outside in the woods or the garden. I also love to dance, cook, eat and travel. I've been in NC for six years now and love it here!)I have two children who are a central part of my life, and juggle career and a bit of social life with the occasional personal escape factored in; it's a full life. A rich life, with friends and family. But I'm still growing. And still thinking that there is a Mr. Wonderful out there. I just haven't met you yet.Some favorites: live music, the air moving around me and the sun on my skin. A great book and movie that makes me cry. Homemade apple pie and everything with butter. The ballet, camping, yoga, gardening, and making a house a home. Life is good. And short. (Kids show you that)! I always (mostly) try to look for the good. No regrets. A good first date activity depends on what you know about your date. If it is next to nothing, then you have to talk. That is a given, no matter what. A good first date depends on the click, the chemistry, the conversation. Intellect, a sense of humor, a beautiful smile, some shared interests, chemistry. Pretty simple really. Right?

The first date would be something casual like going out for dinner and drinks, some place quiet so we can talk and have time to get to know each other to see what we have in common.
