It's not all about whats on the outside but what's on the inside that counts. I am a short, sassy, woman, and sort of the class clown. Laughter makes everything better. I am over-educated but still down-to-earth -- I'll take an evening of playing cards and listening to music over a night out at the theater any time. My favorite music is classic rock (Who, Beatles, Stones, Aerosmith and the like) but I'm also a great fan of classic 80s punk and new wave, and my true roots lie in bluegrass and folk. (Country and western? No thank you.) I'm also fond of reading -- popular fiction, literary fiction, poetry, popular non-fiction -- and I admit that half of my enjoyment of reading lies in analysis, searching for deeper meaning.-- walking through the woods, sitting by a campfire, drinking in the beauty of nature. I love my work, and while I occasionally dream of retirement, I can't really imagine a life without meaningful and fulfilling employment. My family is extremely important to me, so I'm looking for someone who wants to be an important part of my world -- not the center of it. My ideal first date is to meet somewhere, either over a cup o'coffee or a beer, to play cribbage and talk. I'm willing to teach you the game, but I won't throw a game to lull you into a false sense of security!

I love to laugh and want to enjoy life. Going with the flow and see what happens. Eventually I'd like something longterm, because games are for kids. I do have one great 15 year old son. Watching a Steeler game, or going to a racetrack, or attending a hockey game is a fun day out. But I do prefer laid back, mellow environments as opposed to the club scene. Blues clubs, bowling, shooting darts or pool, hanging out at the beach are my type of thing. Although, I am open to new experiences. It's good to have an open mind and try new things.
