Sounds silly that I need to get this out of the way first, but here it goes...I'm not looking for a quick hookup or someone who is less than honest about their intentions. If you're married or otherwise attached, please do not contact me. With that out of the way... I am single and looking for one person to get to know and spend some time with.... I like to do active things, disc golf, hiking, walking in the many parks in the area as well as downtown...I am not a materialistic person, I am really looking for someone who has the time to invest in a relationship. With that said.... I really do enjoy "me" time and would expect the other person to want the same. My idea of quality time is not sitting in front of the tv. Not to say that I don't like to veg on occasion, but not what I want to spend all of my time doing. My kids are nearly grown.... okay one grown and in college and the other is a senior in high school, going to college next year. They are both fairly independent, which is amazing to see what men they are becoming.I spent six years in the Marine Corps and enjoyed serving my country. Honesty and faithfulness is very important. Not into games. Everyone has baggage and the carry on is fine, but please no checked bags :)I enjoy the 80's rock mostly. I do enjoy going to the movies (not on a first date)... like comedies and action. Not so much into Sci Fi and definintely not horror flicks. Well as you are going to find out after reading this,, I'm not a writer, LOL!! - I just got out of a very, very long marriage, which as been hard to get back up on the bike,, but I'm making it, I work full time, I love doing crafts, when I have time, LOL!, I love going for walks with the right person, love movies, also I like to just hang out and have fun. I love cooking and baking,, I have 4 wonderful children,, one who lives with me full time, she is the most wonderful 16 year daughter who helps me with everything and she will always come first,, and I also have 3 other children who are older, but they live on their own and are in their own relationships and are very happy, I also have a granddaughter, she is so precious,, can't help but love her. I love country music and I like dancing and I like camping and sitting beside a awesome bon fire and just enjoying the night, I love eating out and visiting with good company. I adore my kids and I truly love my family and friends and I try to do what I can to help out whenever I get a chance. I love trying new things, I would really love the opportunity to travel, There is nothing better then being with someone special and seeing the world with them, I would love to see different places and one of my biggest dreams is to see the ocean and walk on the beach. I'm a very happy person, I love to laugh, joke around and just have fun, I just love getting together with family and friends and having fun and planning parties for people. I try everything I can to make someone smile everyday. But I can also be very serious and I have compassion for others. I'm honest, hard working and want the same from my partner.Also I'm not trying to be mean here, but I will no respond to anyone who doesn't post a picture of themselves, I feel like if I'm going to be talking or chatting with you, I would really appreciate seeing the person I'm talking with, I like to see who I'm visiting with, hope you understand. My first date, WOW! that's going to be hard, it's been so long, I don't remember what one should be like, LOL! I would love to go to a very nice resturant and just enjoy the evening talking, and then maybe go to a movie, but then we can't talk and get to know each other,so maybe we should do that at a later time, LOL!! or again we can just go somewhere for coffee or a drink and sit and enjoy each other company and find out more about each other.
