I am on this site because I thought it would be a good way to meet new people, make some new friends, and possibly/hopefully meet the guy that will be the Tommy to my Gina. (don't know what that means? just ask :-)I've put quite a bit of time into being a caregiver and am ready for someone to pull me back into the mainstream. I enjoy movies, amusement parks, zoos, car shows/events, walks, drinks and a (bad) game of pool, and pretty much anything in the right company.As far as age goes, it's just a number. I'm young-at-heart, so it's okay to be silly now and then; we all get older, but do we ever have to completely grow up? I'm not saying I don't have a serious side, I definitely do. I just find it important to be able to relax and have fun when the occasion calls for it. Humor is big on my list…you get points if you can make me laugh :-) Speaking of laughing, what is it with all the photos of guys and fish? So you caught one (or two). Been there, done that, and seen so many pics of fish on this site that I feel like the smell is starting to rub off. No offense, I just don't get it (confused look).Anyway, I'm not the best at describing myself, but if I have piqued your interest and you would like to know more, send an *** Members with photos only please...you've seen mine, it's only fair that I see yours... Hello, UPDATED ***I enjoy camping, hiking, biking, swimming, pontoon boating, fishing and almost anything on the water. I like to be the passenger on the motorcycle and I have been told I am a good passenger. I like to sit by a good bonfire and just watch it, talk and cuddle. I enjoy movies and quiet times. I am the mom of 4 young adults all in their 20's. Two are married and have steady jobs in engineering or military. The younger two are twins and one is working and going to college for dental assistant. The other is working two jobs and just moved into her first place. She does not want to spend money on college until she knows what she wants. I have two large dogs and my daughters cat in the house. I work full time in health care and have been in nursing since ***. Since the children are grown, I am getting back to my hobbies. I like to embroider, knit and I am learning to sew again. I am learning to garden, but I find I prefer the big projects with landscaping. I like to wile a day away sometimes with thrift store shopping or garage sales. Sometimes I buy for me, sometimes for someone else. I am trying to develop an eye for "what it could be" when I look at used items. How can I re-purpose them. I enjoy the symphony or Orchestra and theater. I have completed 2 plays with our community theater. It was a wonderful challenge and so much fun. Simple lunch or dinner followed by hiking, fishing, biking. Campfire in the evening.
