Woman. 41 years old. Zodiac sign: Taurus.
Looking for: man. In age: 38-48
I'm an intelligent, kind-hearted, fun-loving person who seeks the same qualities in another. I would like to meet someone who has no initial expectations, but who is open to a long-term relationship. What that means is, I am looking for love, but I don't have an agenda. I have no interest in being in a relationship, simply to cure the loneliness. Being in a relationship that does not fulfill you emotionally and spiritually is possibly the loneliest place you can be. I hope to meet someone who is willing to go with the flow and see where things go naturally, but you should at least be open to the possibility that we might find something beautiful. Real chemistry and a true connection are very important to me, and it is essential that you value mutual respect and intimacy. Ideally, I would like to meet someone with the eyes of an artist, the soul of a poet (no pressure), and the tongue of a comedian...or at least a really good kisser. I realize that is a tall order and quite frankly I was only half-serious, so I am willing to compromise on everything except the good kisser part. Ha! I am the single mother of a teenager and my only child is currently in the process of leaving the nest. Though I hate having to let go, I am looking forward to a new beginning for myself and meeting someone new to share my life with. That said, however, I am looking for some specific qualities in a future partner. I’m looking for a man who treats his friends and family well, as I would like to be included in at least one of those categories...and you must be able to tolerate mine. :-p I would like to meet someone who compliments me (no, not verbally lol), rather than completes me. Someone who sees the brighter side of things and who will support & encourage me when I need it, but who knows when to have my back, or at least validate me, if I’m not having the greatest day. If a man has children, they need to be his priority even if it’s at my expense, or else how could I respect him? I am a very affectionate and passionate person who is capable of loving deeply and need someone who can appreciate and reciprocate that. I know how some of this must sound, but truth be told, I’m pretty easy going, perhaps even to a fault. I guess I've come to the conclusion that the reason I have not had success finding what I seek, is because I haven't been asking for exactly what I want. So, there it was.... LOL Living outside of a relationship the last few years, I’m discovering what I like and what I don’t, and realizing there are things that I may not want to compromise on at this point in my life. (Who knew?!) I guess it just took me a while to learn there are sometimes when it’s alright, or even necessary to take a stand for what you want or believe in. I believe that the right partner will accept, and even love you for that, because they respect and love you for ALL you are...they know your heart, and they love you being you.. It took me a while to learn that if you give all of yourself to someone or something, or even too many things, it is easy to lose your own identity. It is possible to become so lost, that one day you realize you have nothing left to give to the people around you who truly care about you and that you truly care about...and that should include yourself. I sometimes wonder if my passive nature was an unattractive quality that people might have mistaken for a lack of self respect...shoot maybe it was. In any case, at this point in my life I am a strong independent woman. I have grown into my own person, but I still make a pretty amazing partner. What I'm really looking for is my best friend, plain and simple. Thanks for reading and if you're still interested I look forward to hearing from you. WARNING: Internet dating has led me to cross paths with some pretty unsavory characters who have jeopardized my own life and integrity, so I have been forced to draw hard and fast lines.I respectfully request that anyone with a history of violence and/or serious criminal activity ( i.e. bank robbery, etc. ) please eliminate themselves from consideration at this point. Oh, and just to put it out there, for all of you who are sitting in your home offices or garages, pretending that you are interested in getting to know me, please know that I'm not here looking for a booty call, an NSA hook-up, dirty chatting or naked camming with you...no offense. I prefer to do something simple...something that makes it easy to get to know a person....coffee, dinner, or some kind of activity that leaves the opportunity for conversation, even if it's movies at home. A first date is always a great date if you have to start the DVD over 2 or 3 times because the conversation or the chemistry is soo good that you never actually watch the movie. ;-)

Looking for: man. In age: 41-51
Ok - After looking at many other profiles on this sight, I think that I need to add a little more information here. After going through a diviorce, I am back on the dating scene, and boy is it different than I remember it. I am 5'4" and have dark brown, curly hair that is a little past shoulder length. I have dark brown eyes and people tell me that I have a nice smile. I have two daughters, ages 18 and 16. They are my main priority. They are beautiful, smart, and funny. They are big supporters of me starting to date again. After a lot of reflecting and soul searching, I know that I want an attractive man in my life that is honest and can communicate. I'd like someone who wants to go out and have fun, possibly try new things, but can still be content with staying at home some nights, having a glass of wine, and watching a movie. I want someone who wants to be with ME and he shows that to me by the way he acts. I realize that this might not happen for a while, that's ok.During my free time I like to go shopping, read books, and hang out with friends and family. During the summer I love to spend time outside exercising and going to the pool. I am a middle/high school math/science teacher. I love listening to alternative rock and pop music. I think a great first date is meeting for dinner and drinks at a nice restaurant. Hopefully, we can get to know each other a little and if we feel like there is some chemistry, see each other again.

Woman. 43 years old. Zodiac sign: Sagittarius.
Looking for: man. In age: 40-50
Hello. As I think about the change of season, I wonder of meeting a man to begin to know each other. We would see if there is a spark. There so much to do; pumpkin patch, sipping coca, maybe snuggle watching an action or comedy movie. I would not mind helping getting chores done for winter. I'm a loving, nurturing, and caring lady. I get that people need time for themselves and not be together all the time. I like to smile and find the postives. I am a good listener and have a way of looking the big picture. My curiosity keeps my mind open to listen and think about new things about life. I believe in God and miracles. My music taste vary from the 80's, current pop, soft rock, some country, maroon five, etc.. You'll find me anywhere from home watching select tv shows as in the news, How I met your mother, looking forward to blacklist to running erronds , meet family/ friends and research on computer. I have one teen boy at home and one girl at college. I wish not to give birth to anymore children but, welcome my heart to your children. Honesty is important . I'm hoping to find someone who doesn't mind being me being a plus size woman. Maybe we can get in shape together. A man who is kind, has intergrity, up for short/long coversations, and quite time is a great match. Are you a thinker yet have romance to? Can you relax, be a little goofy, and know when to be serious about life? I believe it is good to take time to get to know each other. I believe their is a soulmate for each person at different points in life. I'd like to hear about you. Hope you are not too far away.I'll start with a question. You are doing some chores when you get thirsty... What do you get to drink?Have a great day! I'm sure we could figure a nice place to first meet. Depending on the weather, perhaps we could meet at local event, restaurant, bar, Station Square, bookstore, watch the planes landing, even a church fundraiser. Do you have any suggestions?
