About Me

It has been an adjustment, though, coming from a small city in west TX. I hope to explore more of the area this summer and meet new friends. I like reading, going to movies, concerts and I'm excited about experiencing new things. I haven't had much dancing experience but would love to practice and learn more - or at least put my arms around a great guy and sway together while music is playing somewhere.I want to find a passion in life that I know has been missing for me, in my employment, my relationships, in the daily activities. I feel there is so much more to life than just surviving.If you are a great guy, can put together a couple of sentences to say hi and would like to get to know a nice, mostly sane, lady then send a message and let’s try it out. Let’s go fishing. I have my own pole and can even put a worm on the hook.     I like to travel - beach destinations are my favorite, as I am a scuba diver. I prefer the summer to the winter. I like seeing some local bands, going into NYC to a comedy club or show. I recently bought my own house, and I'm looking forward to doing a lot of gardening and grilling in the back yard. I worked hard to get to where I am - other than occasional Powerball, I'm not much for gambling. I would say that I'm low maintainence...I can be ready to go pretty much anywhere in under 30 min, I have no aversions or allergies to food, I enjoy excellent health. I'm a little afraid of heights (which is why ziplining was a really big deal for me). I am innately curious, and hence love the internet. I can learn anything at any time of the day or night...about the kind of salamander found in my backyard, how to replumb my shower using PEX (yes, I did it!!!) recipes, what kind of plants are deer resistant (artificial), restaurant reviews, everything! First dates are awkward. If there is potential after initially meeting....live sporting events, the dog park, go cart racing, winery tour, ethnic restaurant. Movies require silence...not ideal for getting to know someone...and I'm okay with that.
