    Well, it is difficult to write about yourself so I will keep that in mind while reading others profiles. Music? I love to be outdoors..by this I don't mean juston the sidewalks. I can also be very girly and dress up nice or throw my hair back in a pony tail and play. I like to shoot my bow (getting better at it), I would shoot a gun if i had one. I come from a hunting family so I am no vegetarian. I believe it is very important to "keep moving" and get outside as much as possible. I also like cruises and thought snorkeling was a blast. In the winter I will throw on my hiking boots and walk in the snow, I prefer trails in the woods but that isn't always safe for a girl. Or I will x-country ski near my house. I like the beaches but I am not one to lay out in the sun. I definitely have to slap on the sun screen, as you can see I am quite light complected. I believe in cooking healthy, especially as we all get older so I don't put a lot of junk in my body. I am spontaneous, and sometimes a smart ass..but all in good fun. I like a guy who enjoys being outside. Especially camping, fishing, etc... , one who likes to plan get-aways, campfires, etc... There are a lot of things that I know a little about so I can join in just about any conversation. My knowledge of the medical field is quite vast. I love animals/nature. I love to fish and grew up with a father who took me fishing a lot. I am no couch potatoe and pretty much cant sit around when I am bored, I am always looking for something to do. I do have four children (two still live at home) they are 17 and 11, and two that do not live here that are 21 and 15.I appreciate good art, music of all kinds, photography, and a sense of humor, and financial responsibility. I did not say "wealthy".... many men with good jobs have huge debt so that is not what I am saying. I have a strong faith in God and believe through him.."all things are possible". I am 100% financially independant. I am not looking for a relationship to have someone take care of me or move in. I prefer to go on a few dates and meet people to see who I seem to click with. My ideal man would be funny, a gentleman who doesn't boast, financially secure , clean cut but who also likes to fish, hunt, hike, etc..... jeans and t-shirt is ok but he should also know how to dress up as well. Really turned off by anyone who lies. (This includes old photos on their profile) When I get the feeling I am being lied to...my initial *** typically correct. My pictures and my profile are me.... I prefer that men have a picture showing their smile, love a gorgeous smile! Turn offs? Men who are easily angered, jump to conclusions, and don't listen. Previous alcoholics (sorry, happy for you that you quit but not interested), men who hold a lot of hate in their heart for their ex (forgiveness is huge and is a sign of an emotionally healthy man). Lol, and profiles with miss-spelled words although apparently I am guilty of one or two at times. The worst with POF? Mens profiles that say nothing that describes them but *** informs women what they are doing wrong in their search for a man. Seriously...read your profile because it is supposed to be about you NOT other men. And don't tell women how you are "not that guy" who wants to get them drunk when all your pictures include you holding a beer. To be honest, I dont get the feeling that men are turned off by my personality when I meet them, I have always made friends easy and felt comfortable in any type of crowd. And before you ask. YES really a blonde, YES pictures are current. NO not crazy, lol, ok so maybe a little. :) I really don't like first dates to be honest. They make most people nervous. Because of this, I typically like to communicate via emial/phone at first to get to know a person for a few days. I dont' like to feel like I am being interviewed and "reasons for my divorce" are right up there with conversations I don't feel are appropriate on a first date. A social place to hang out usually works best, coffee shops sometimes work but coffee makes me talk way to much if I am nervous. If the weather is nice a walk in a park on a trail is nice (yes, my dad would cringe at me telling a total stranger to meet me in the woods, lol)
