Howdy and thank you for reading my profile!I would like to start off by saying that over the last couple of years I have made health and wellness an important part of my life. This does not mean I am hard core about it or a delicate little flower but, it does mean if you have the TV schedule memorized for everyday of the week we are probably not a match...just saying. I have three awesome kids, two in college and an eighth grader. They motivate and inspire me on a daily basis:)A few words used to describe me by others are positive, silly, a great mom, adventurous, sarcastic, freakishly independent (?), fun loving, financially responsible, dorky (teenagers can be so harsh), active, and honest. I hope to find someone with a few of the same characteristics! The motto I have taught my kids and try to live by is treat others the way you want to be treated. Simple but it goes a long way!! In the future I hope to...grow a vegetable garden, learn how to can my veggies, see more of the world, take ballroom dance lessons, get into snow shoeing, buy a motorcycle, join a volleyball league...the possibilities are endless and would be way more fun with a trusty sidekick!!!I very much believe laughter is contagious and life is way too short to sweat the small stuff! I belong to the gym and enjoy working out. I have learned that I also love to ride, so if you don't ride you need to understand and share me with the wind. While your understanding I also have 2 daughters 21 & 13, and when needed they will come first and foremost!! I enjoy going to the casinos, they offer so many different venues. I have had season tickets to the CT Sun for the last 8 yrs.. While I don't really have any other favorite sports team, I don't mind watching with my partner. I enjoy going to fairs, flea markets or ocassional swap meets. I am not a girly girl, I'm more of a t- I am not afraid to get my hands dirty and have done my time in the national guard. Now don't get me wrong, I can and will dress to impress as well!! I listen to all types of music, except rap, but I love country the best :-) Coffee, tea, or me...lol. Really a relaxed place to talk get to know one another . Or just a bike ride thru the country :-)

One of my favorite quotes: "Do or do not - there is no try"- Hey, I'm a little bit of a geek, I grew up playing with my brother's Star Wars toys and his cars....My musical tastes vary, everything from alternative, rock, a bit of old school rap (ie Beastie Boys). I can listen to just about anything and enjoy it; however, if I am singing, you won't enjoy it! ha ha ha (at least I admit it... That has to count for something!)I love spicy food and I like to try different cuisines. 95% of the time I eat healthy. 5% of the time you are allowed a little leeway. There is no such thing as too much cayenne, too many jalapeno peppers, or too many red pepper flakes! You want to do curry, make it HOT curry! A few things about me:- There is something that is real and true about karma. I believe in trying your best to do the right thing. I believe in saying sorry when one does something wrong/bad/hurtful and I think one should mean it when one says "I'm sorry". - I love my Spartans, if you can't tolerate a MSU football game, don't bother contacting me. My blood bleeds green, pretty much all fall!!! - My job is very important to me, but I know how to leave the office at the office and I do not bring the drama of the office home with me. Would love to travel to more of Europe and Australia, too! The only other language I can speak/understand fairly well is French, also I can speak the basics in Spanish/Mexican (okay, I can ask where the bathroom is and order a beer). I live a healthy life style, I get my exercise, I relax, sometimes (but not often) I do absolutely nothing. Life is good. If the days were longer than 24 hours, life would be better!
