I am at a great place in my life, but missing that special person to share it with. I'm blessed with two wonderful boys that I share ***custody with, a great family, and a ton of friends. It would be great to meet a family man who understands the balancing act between a career, children (and their extra-curricular activities), friends, and setting time aside to enjoy life. Someone who’s the last person I think of before I go to sleep and the first one on my mind when I wake up. About me… I'm a self sufficient, independent & honest person, who loves to laugh. I'm just as comfortable wearing a t-shirt & jeans as I am in a dress going to a five- star restaurant. I enjoy most sports, and like to keep myself busy, but I can always make time for the ones I love. When I'm not with my children, I enjoy spending time with friends, but downtime with the right person and cooking dinner together is just as good, often better. I am looking for someone who wants to have a partner in life, but also has things they like to do on their own. You need to be comfortable with your past, happy with what you have now, and know what you want out of life. Having similar interests would be nice, but not a necessity.     What can I say that is totally off the wall, that is different than every other profile that you have read...heaven forbid you read another profile with the same 'blah blah me this, blah blah me that'. This will allow each person to stay an individual, but it also gives you the opportunity to try something new.I enjoy spending time with my family & friends. I enjoy the outdoors...especially during camping season. Nothing better than sitting outside by a bonfire staring at the stars. I'm not into fishing, but I do like to be out on the water...it's so relaxing to me to be cruising around on a boat. I absolutely love the Fall season...the color changes are so beautiful that time of year. I enjoy traveling & road trips...especially when there's no specific plan or direction. Just get in the vehicle & go.I love playing & watching volleyball, watching hockey (my favorite team is the MN Wild--since I'm originally from southern MN), & watching football.; the sidewalk had a little disagreement. :O) I also like going for bike rides, picnics in the park, & going for walks.I enjoy all types of music (well, except for maybe rap & waltzes. I can handle some polkas). I prefer rock & country. I really like listening to live bands.My hobbies would include: playing volleyball, listening to music, playing cards/board games, putting jigsaw puzzles together. I enjoy all types of movies...don't worry, I won't make you watch a chick flick with me. Unless, you absolutely want to watch with me...that decision will totally be up to you. I also enjoy relaxing on the couch reading a good book. My favorite authors are Anne Rice, Nicholas Sparks, &I love to cook & bake, but don't do either as much as I would like too...I don't like to cook/bake for just myself. I'm not a master chef by any means, but I do know my way around the kitchen. I like going out on the town for dinner & drinks (or dinner & a movie), but also enjoy a quiet night at home.I have come to realize that life is too short to dwell on things that are out of my control. That I am the only one in charge of my life. No one should ever make you feel like you don't matter. Nobody is 100% perfect, but in someone's eye's you are perfect for them & vice versa.I hope this gives you some kind of idea about me & my personality.
