I have been a teacher for the past 17 years. I have taught kindergarten through middle school. Kindergarten is my love and I was able to move back to Kindergarten this past year. Being a teacher has brought me many opportunities to be a part of many lives and to teach as well as learn from others. I am able to persue my hobbies and other interests during the summer and during school vacations. Being a teacher you work a lot during the school year, but the summer trade off can be wonderful, unless you decide to teach summer school. Then you only have a few weeks off *** 8 weeks off lol. I enjoy taking classes to continue my own education. I enjoy learning anything new that will impact my students. I want my students to be able to find school exciting and fun and to want to come back everyday. I want them to be able to do their best and challenge themselves.I love to travel and have many places on my list that I would like to see one day. Most of my traveling has been in the U. I have a great sense of humor and love to laugh. I spend a lot of time with my friends and their families and spoiling their children as well as my 2 great nephews. I enjoy meeting new people and getting to know them.I am looking to meet someone that is kind, compassionate and caring that enjoys going out on occasion as well as staying in hanging out with friends or just us. Seriously?? Guys, if you don't intend to meet someone do NOT waste our time! Future guys, I will not waste weeks of *** we *** times, great but let's meet. Ask a person out! Why is that so difficult? Now that I have Sold my house in N. I am an independant women, where during the summer I do work 7 days a week ( help my elderly parents out with their summer business). For this reason, looking for someone close by, even though I do work a lot, I am "off duty" usually by noon...I am outspoken yet shy ( yes guys I am shy) ..I take great lenghts to make sure I am in good shape ( mentally and phyically) and expect my partner to do the same. By far this has been the most difficult state to date in. I find the men here ( please prove me wrong) not really willing to go that extra mile for a women, a bit lazy I guess I could say. I do want a man to come to my turf at first. Call it old fashioned, call it whatever you want, but one thing I can tell you all about women, is we like it when you do nice things like that.I am NOT a bar person. I will gladly meet you out for a drink on a first meeting, but guys, not a bar..that is not me..I am past that at my age. A quiet Restaurant in the corner where we can talk is much more my style.My likes:Walking, hiking, biking, gardening, going to the beach, the gym, cooking, wine..a good BBQ in the summer, hanging out with my family and Travel. Once I meet a man, my typical things to do are simple things...Dinner and a movie, walks on the beach or the back bay..hiking..traveling..Dislikes: Guys that tell me I have too many rules because I am not a late night person...One thing that is very important to me, is working out. I do classes at night afterwork. so my weekdays are usually doing that, I don't get home until 7:30..Will that eventually change, probably..but not right now..Even still I just don't do late night things..I am a morning person...you want to meet on a Sunday morning for a hike. GREAT...or an weekend afternoon kind of thing? fantastic..I guess it goes back tot he bar thing...just not interested. I am looking for someone fit, usually clean cut, ( Yes, that does mean the full beards, funky facial hair, are not attractive to me sorry, ), tall ( I stand 5'8" bare footed)and attractive. Also a complete non smoker. BTW unless I am at the gym or working for my Dad, I am Usually in heels..I am sure i will write more but kinda rushed. Anything but coffee pls..Be creative...

These are the big ones that come to mind.Although I have lived all over, I consider myself a free spirited girl with a southern heart. Ultimately I am hoping to find a good, kind, funny, affectionate man who knows how to treat a lady; In the meantime, I like making new friends, having a date and talking about movies, music, politics, books, and learning about others. Maybe bowling or putt putt? Except my competitive side could emerge! But I think it allows for conversation, some laughs and activity without looking a fool??? (ok except for the ridiculous bowling shoes!) :)
