About Me

Hi. I am a very outgoing, firecracker of a girl who is looking for a man that is ready for a real relationship. A man who is mature, independent, classically respectful and chivalrous would be a welcome treat. Common sense & politeness are a few traits that certainly score some awesome brownie points. It is amazing how many adults seem to forget the manners their parents taught them. I have been divorced for 4 years and have 3 wonderful children. They are very happy kids, always smiling, like their mom! They are with me ***days out of the week, which does leave me a couple days to get to know you and see where this crazy life can take us. I am full of energy and rarely need much sleep! My life is on the go ***it seems. Ideally I'd love to find someone who shares that enthusiasm for life!Fall is my favorite time of year and spending it outdoors as much as possible is something I really enjoy; running or a walk to see the leaves changing, pumpkin farms, bon-fires, football games, holding hands or snuggled under a blanket on a crisp, cool night are great ways to enjoy the season. I am a Bears fan and since I do not have my children on Sundays, you will find me watching the game at a local sports bar with friends, or cheering from the couch in my living room! I'd love to meet up for dinner, coffee or a drink!

Woman. 44 years old. Zodiac sign: Pisces.

Looking for: man. In age: 41-51

I'm constantly bewildered by the cruel joke of heterosexuality. Why am I drawn to and attracted to the opposite sex when it appears that everything about us is, indeed, opposite? It seems that men are more suited to living with men, and women with women. So why are we trying to fit a square peg into a round hole (please pardon the pun as I believe I've just answered my own question while philosophizing). I am sort of a walking contradiction in that I love people but am sort of a loner. I'm a little bit country, but I'm also a little bit rock 'n' roll. I love to go for a long hike in the woods with my dogs, but when I get home I might blast some Radiohead or Pink Floyd... or Johnny Cash. Then there's big band music! So much to choose from...I like social gatherings but I'm more likely to enjoy doing something productive. Most of my hobbies entail solitude. Things like painting, writing (screenplays mostly), hiking, biking, hanging out with my dogs. Very dedicated to my dysfunctional family, as well. I'm not a huge fan of television but do like public TV and a few cable shows like "Curb Your Enthusiasm." I could watch that show for hours. Also like Mad Men and a guilty pleasure is "The Bachelor". I can be too serious/cynical about life sometimes but when my mind is free from worrying about my family, my friends and the planet, I can be a hell of a lot of fun! I love to laugh but I also can appreciate a peaceful Sunday morning drinking coffee, listening to music and reading the paper. (One stripper said that a raisin was once originally a pickle--I'm sorry, it's cruel but it makes me feel better about myself!) I'm a pescatarian and would prefer someone that's not big on eating meat. Also would love someone who is outdoorsy and more of a homebody than an adventurer.I've been told I'm a gay man trapped in a woman's body. Maybe you should be a lesbian trapped in a man's body? First date should always be quick and painless, like ripping off a band-aid, just to see if there is chemistry. A quick dinner/drink or lunch is preferred. If we make it to the second date, I'd like to take a day trip to a city I've never been to before (provided I'm driving so you can't try to kidnap me, only to be seen again on milk cartons--Have you seen this girl?) and explore the local culture. Restaurants, shops, art museums, plays, etc. If the day goes well, the drive back home exchanging time on the iPods (which we'll bring on the first date, of course) should be titillating!

I’m not on here to play games and expect the same. I\'m truly interested in meeting someone to see where things may go. Someone who is ready to settle down, and wants to build it together.

    - have to admit I do not get control of the tv often though usually watching kid friendly shows. When I get a chance to read you can catch me reading romances but I am usually reading work related books. Although I am not a big sports nut, I will watch anything. Grew up watching golf! As far as my interestes go I enjoy being out doors, camping, love motorcycles, hope to get my lincense this year, I love being spontaneous! My son and I have been known to pack our bags and head out for a weekend adventure on a pretty regular basis. As far as my hopes and dreams go, as a hopeless romantic you can only imagine how corney my dreams are This is a very hard question to answer as I really enjoy experiencing new things and will try just about anything. I like the man in my life to take the lead with regards to plans. I think as you get to know someone you can figure out that perfect first date, but every perfect date has to start with the right meeting and I think a cup of coffee,****ail in a quaint location is a great way to meet for the first time.
