I'm a kickass awesome mom. I honestly believe that laughter IS the best medicine. Especially a child's laughter. That was one of my biggest enjoyments when my children were growing up. I loved to just sit and listen to them laugh. That said I obviously love my kids. And although two of them are grown and moved out, I am and always will be there for them. I have three kids and a few that have adopted me as mom....funny how that happens lol. Matter of fact, they are the ones that got me into this site. Because "mom" doesn't get out and meet anyone. So here I am...trying to get to know people. Who knows, if nothing at all, I just might make a few friends along the way ;). I am not here just to "hook up". I am not going to call you just because you like my profile and I am not going to meet you as soon as you say hello either. I am an observant type person and I will get to know you on here first. Sorry if that offends you, but that is just the way I am. There are too many false people out there and I will find a comfort zone before we meet. That being said, you probably can guess that I am blunt. I believe I have a great personality and I am easy to get along with. I love to have fun...even to the point of just being goofy...you should seriously see me and my best friend. You never know what the two of us are going to pull. As I said earlier...laughter is the best medicine. So if you are the type of person that is serious all the time...you need not message me. I like to enjoy life and have fun. I am only serious when the need is there. I have had a few not so great experiences with my health and it has taught me to make the most of life every day. Always tell someone you love them, you never know when they aren't going to be there. Spend as much time with your family and friends as you can. Tomorrow isn't promised and I choose to make the most of each day.As for me, I'm not huge...but I am not small. I don't have a great body, just a great personality ha ha. I'm not athletic. I could blame it on surgeries and health issues, but the fact is I haven't been since I left school. I have disabilities that prevent me from doing a lot of things I would like to do, but it doesn't keep me from trying. That doesn't mean that I can't do ANYTHING though. I just have limitations. As I said before, I believe in honesty. So if you are looking for super woman...I am not her. The spring chicken flew the coop through the years ;). Anything else you want to know...just ask. A first date should be a mixture of something fun but sentimental. First impressions are essential. It is the pivotal point that will make you or break you.

    Ive started seeing somrone.Don't you love talking about yourself? Well I'm an open book! If I don't touch on what you want to know, just ask! Two of my boys are now married and moved out, my youngest is 19 and moving out soon. I've never had the house all to myself. I'm now at a point in my life that I can do the things that I've always wanted to do. I would love to find a companion to keep me company. I'm NOT saying I want a committed relationship as soon as we meet but if it happens on down the road that will be awesome.I know what I want, Where I'm going and where I hope to be in 10 years. I have alot of goals and ambitions. I also have a long bucket list that I want to fulfill. I want to find that man that will help me obtain my goals and not hold me back from them. Hobbies are a long list. I really enjoy going to the movies, theme parks (love a roller coaster), beach, cooking out rather it's at home, beach or camping, nature walks, parks and almost anything that doesn't hurt me..lol There are lots of things that I want to do that I haven't.I have started working out in the gym and found that I'm becoming quickly addicted. I'll never be skinny, but in shape....YES. Got a ways to go but nothing like being a work in progress. I want to do a 5k by this time next year...that is on my bucket list! I really enjoy traveling, going to new places, discovering that cozy little dinner in the middle of nowhere or in a hole in the wall that no ones knows about, cruises are a passion of mine. I just came back from a medical mission trip to the Dominican Republic and had a really enlightening experience. I'm much more appreciative of the life that I live here in the states. Can't wait for that trip. Plan to ride down the Amazon River and have clinic along the river (I believe there are 9 outpost that we will visit). Nothing like giving of yourself to help those that are less fortunate and live in desperate times.I am a nurse, working in a hospital. I'm not rich and don't want to be your sugar mama or your mama of any type. What I'm looking for in a man is simple...honesty and caring. I want someone that wants me unconditionally even with all my faults. I'm not perfect, but i'm a good person. I want a man that wants to be with me and spend time with me. I don't want to smother or be smothered. However, I love to receive that text or call for no reason...just to say Hi and I'm thinking of you. I want to lay on the couch and hold hands while we watch a movie. .it's the simple things in life that are the most amazing at times.     In the fall and winter I love watching football- Or maybe an evening happy hour out by the fire pit. I'm a physical education teacher and gave up coaching softball a few years ago after having both knees replaced which gives me lots of extra time to work on my golf game, not that my handicap shows it :). I love to be on the go. I prefer to be outside whenever possible. I can't ski anymore but still would love to try tubing sometime or just snuggled up in a cabin with a fire sounds great too. Of course a calm relaxing time at home is nice too. I have 2 dogs Finny and Duffy who keep me active. And Monday - Friday mornings you'll find me at the gym at 5 am. Thought it was crazy when my friend first suggested it but now can't imagine not going. I love Wolftrap in the summer. All concerts are fun but it's definitely nice to lay back and enjoy some food and beverages as your listening:). Enjoy a variety of music but not into classical or rap. There's a bunch of great first dates. I love the zoo, putt putt and I'm always a fan of happy hour. I don't drink coffee although on a cold day I do enjoy hot chocolate!- sorry
