About Me

I am not out to be a serial dater. My focus is generally on one person at a time. I really just want one good guy who will be faithful and honest with me about what he wants and what he expects from me.I am a mother of two boys. I don't want to play games. I work in a profession with a lot of women, I've learned from watching the men, it is best to keep a low profile. So I would not consider myself a drama queen. I have a few close friends at work and we keep information rather private between us. Yes, I would like to be married again someday. Is that a crime? I want someone who likes to laugh, have fun, and go out and have a nice time.I like comedy and cheesy romance movies. I like 80's music and classic rock mostly. My favorite movies are: Pretty in Pink, The Breakfast Club, Sixteen Candles, and Top Gun. My favorite song (uh, also from the 80's, do you see a trend here?) is Jump, by Van Halen. I love EVH! I like Jump because it showcases him on keyboards. He's also great on guitar, of course!!!I am not into fishing, camping, or motorcycles (sorry). But that being said, I won't feel the need to do everything with you. Not to say that an occasional ride on a motorcycle would be horrible. I don't do the "tent" camping thing either, ha, ask me about the last time I did though. My friend still makes fun of me for that. For exercise, I enjoy swimming in a pool, by myself, with lanes, I'm not great at it, but I do like it or water aerobics.About who I'd like to meet... Generally, I like the clean cut look, I'm not trying to fly about on a broom, but that's just what I tend to like. If you prefer long haired, blue-eyed blondes, I don't stand a chance in that world, obviously, and happy fishing, there are plenty out there! Based on my height, you could be 5'5" or 6 feet tall, either way, if you're taller or the same height, not a big problem unless you are about 6'5", and even then it wouldn't bother me. I am probably not the gal who will brave ***degree or below zero weather to see (anything) but much less to see a team play, that's why they televise it, and also why they now make DVR's.Spitting or chewing are four letter words to me. I have two boys, no thank you. I am also not a huge fan of highly visible tattoos. I respect your choice to do what you want with your own body, I am just not an advocate of it. Something small and on your upper arm, chest, or hip is okay. So if after reading all of this you haven't fallen asleep and feel that you might actually like to go out please write.     In the fall and winter I love watching football- Or maybe an evening happy hour out by the fire pit. I'm a physical education teacher and gave up coaching softball a few years ago after having both knees replaced which gives me lots of extra time to work on my golf game, not that my handicap shows it :). I love to be on the go. I prefer to be outside whenever possible. I can't ski anymore but still would love to try tubing sometime or just snuggled up in a cabin with a fire sounds great too. Of course a calm relaxing time at home is nice too. I have 2 dogs Finny and Duffy who keep me active. And Monday - Friday mornings you'll find me at the gym at 5 am. Thought it was crazy when my friend first suggested it but now can't imagine not going. I love Wolftrap in the summer. All concerts are fun but it's definitely nice to lay back and enjoy some food and beverages as your listening:). Enjoy a variety of music but not into classical or rap. There's a bunch of great first dates. I love the zoo, putt putt and I'm always a fan of happy hour. I don't drink coffee although on a cold day I do enjoy hot chocolate!- sorry
