Hi! I also have taken a big interest in biking and hiking over the past couple years, I find them much more enjoyable forms of exercise than a class inside and like to find new trails to keep it interesting. I hid my profile off here for awhile a couple times, now trying it again, don't want to give up to find that connection that is right for me!I'm looking for someone near my age and location to begin conversations with to get to know each other to see if we have common interests and attractions to each other. I'm probably considered the old fashioned hopeless romantic type. I will be honest and expect the same in return...I love a gentleman who respects a woman, this is very important and also has a true interest in getting to know me. If you hate tattoos, you may not want to meet me....I have one on my wrist with special meaning. A good 1st date on a weekday would probably be meeting for a walk on a nice day if you're near downtown, lunch or an after work drink or dinner to be able to chat and get to know each other. Playing pool or bowling can be fun also. Hopefully we will have chatted enough with each other to get an idea of what would work best for the two of us.

I like to fish. Not great at it, but like it none the less. I find it relaxing. (except when when nothings biting!) I went deer hunting for the first time last year. Would like to do that again.I draw and paint. Mostly wildlife, old buildings, and nature. I write poetry. Have a couple published. Am pretty creative, I guess. Like to drive in the country and take pictures of things to paint.I walk a lot. Should step that up a little, but I have a full and a part-time job, so it's hard to find the time.I absolutely love music. Can't do anything without it. Some of everything depending on my mood. Mostly country and 80's stuff. Can play part of "Dream On "on guitar and even drum a little.(very little!) Not a big t.v. watcher. Have a couple sitcoms I like, or CMT, and Hallmark(cheesy,I know, but that's how I roll!) I do like to watch some discovery channel stuff:Gold Diggers, Deadliest Catch. Love movies too, again, some of everything. I'm kind of a popcorn-aholic.Not real big on going to the bar to just hang out. Do like to go for live music, or karoake. Might even do a little dancing.My "someday "Looking for someone who enjoys living the simple life, (you can have nice things without being materialistic) but who's not "simple minded." He has to be able to open up, but also be a good listener, because it works both ways. (communication is key in any relationship) I'd like him to be responsible, but not overly serious, He's gotta be comedic, as most days I could use a good laugh! He doesn't have to be a church goer, but he needs to at least believe in God. Do you think I can get all that in one package?
