Do people really read these things ?I am a hopeless romantic looking for my knight in shining armor. I'm realistc though and I live in the real world and not a fantasy created by movies and romantic books. My ideal man would have to meet certain criteria to interest me. These criteria include-* He must be a Christian* He must be gainfully employed* He must understand that my children are vitally important to me* He should be a good guy but have enough "bad" in him to be fun and interesting* He should treat his Mom with kindness and respect ( My Nanny always said you can tell a lot about a man by how he treats his mother )* He should have a sense of humor and be able to make me laughThere are a few things that I will not compromise on. I have learned some hard lessons by experience and I don't plan on making those same mistakes again.* I'm not interested in a smoker. I lost my father to lung cancer at the age of 49. I simply can't be around cigarettes* I'm not interested in getting in the middle of a family drama. * I'm not looking for a one-night stand. If sex is all you want, please move on.* If you are not a Christian, please move on.* I don't expect you to be perfect, but I do like a man who can take care of himself. Please be clean, neat and well groomed.I've lost who I am in the past with relationships. That won't happen again. I am capable of taking care of myself and I've come to realize that it is okay for me to have an opinion and express it. I believe that compromise is essential in any relationship. I also believe that a successful relationship takes a ***% commitment from both people or it won't work. I'm not looking for *** I would like to simply meet a nice man that I am compatible with, start a wonderful friendship and let a relationship bloom from that friendship. I beleive that a friendship is the essential building block of a successful relationship. I think an ideal first date would be to meet somewhere quiet.
