I want the best friend and the crazy passion with someone - I think you need both!!!!I have a 13 year old daughter who is my world -as I tell her - she is the air that I breathe! Family is also very important to me . I love to go to NYC- the theater - dinner etc. recently saw Newsies. In the grand scheme of things I have all I could want - a wonderful daughter, a home, good family and friends and a job I enjoy going to everyday. Just the wonderful partner is missing. I think a first date is a chance to meet briefly and see if there is the chemistry we all hope for. A cup or coffee or drink is fine. If something is there the night can always be extended to dinner.
