Hard working, ok well maybe not so hard working.... but I do work and enjoy working with the time off enjoyed even more.....I end up having to talk to soooo many people in the day at my job.. wait .. what ?... gosh, I think I'm starting to ramble, can't recall what I was supposed to be writing about... OH YEAH !! Well, I guess knowing I have an inclination to ramble is a good place to start... I love photography and road trips.. so I'm bound to be that person you see on the side of the road taking a picture of whatever caught my eye. I love movies and music(live or otherwise) I tend to gravitate towards classic rock, rock, country, but also listen to whatever sounds good, however, I just haven't gotten into rap. ** ** UPDATE ** as of ***I had foot surgery.. Hi there! I'm a mature, non smoking, divorced, single female looking 2 meet new friends, hang out, have fun, go out 2 movies, dancing, movies, dinner, coffee, walks & talk, Comedy club, TBSO, or have good times w good friends & see where things lead.Ive lived from one Coast of this Great Nation of ours to the other, now I'm back where I started 20 years ago!!;I'm into all kinds of music, though Blues, Country & Classical are my favourites! I'll listen to anything once, how better 2 learn about something new if you don't at least try it once, right? I've recently gotten into Meditation, Mindfullness, Yoga, Relaxation videos on You Tube & soft soothing Nature sounds. What makes me unique? Hmmmm, I've lived & seen alot that would have done most people in over the years. I've come out better, stronger, smarter, wiser & more aware of what I want & what I don't! Also what I'm looking for & what in a Relationship with another person.My goal is to go back 2 School in the Spring & get into Social Work or Law at the new Law School here in Thunder Bay.My Hobbies, I've learned in the past year or two, to stop, slow down, literally smell the roses, as they say, take one day at a time, rest, relax, have fun, enjoy & experience what life has to offer! There's a saying here....we can either have a good life or a Great Life!! I want a Great Life. I want 2 make a "Bucket List" & make it a conscious effort & decision 2 "mark off" at least one of my "Must do B4 I leave this Great Earth, we have" every year.My hobbies; Cooking, Photography, Walking, sight seeing, exploring nature, writing poetry, speech writing, self improvement, taking classes *** College currently, music & getting 2 know new people. Everyone has something we can take away & learn from.What I'm looking for...a friend to do things with, this dating after a serious relationship and divorce is hard. I never thought I would be doing this at my age, but here I am I'm divorced happily. I have kids, if you have your own, great, then we will have more in common. My thought on that is this..."Anyone can be a parent, but it takes someone special to be a Mom or Dad". Life is a learning process, we all make mistakes, though it's what we learn from our mistakes that makes us a better person in the end. I love cooking, cleaning, & thrift store shopping, hey you never know what you can find, or make with what you can find! I have found all kinds of treasures! What makes me unique, well I would have to say...I don't smoke...never have and never will...! I don't drink. Not into the party, club scenes, that's for the young folk, which I'm not. I never was, even back in my younger years. Not me. I started my "family when I was 20" & have 4 Great Son's now & 10 year old "step" daughter too! Oldest is in his 4th year University (3 more years 2 go 4 him), 2nd oldest in College (this year), one in HS & lastly but certainly not least youngest in his last year of Elementary School (Grade 8).I prefer to meet people, the old fashioned way, thru friends, in the grocery store, online, by accident or over coffee or just by accident. Something else I think makes me unique, I would say my uncanny way of whipping up a creative meal in no time. Whether it be simple or complicated, for one or for 101. I love cooking, more experimenting & learning new tricks, tips & techniques. When I'm creating unique meals with what I have on hand, I sometimes like 2 add/make a wine sauce, therefore I have 2 stand corrected, I will drink wine, beer occasionally. I know my limit & stay within it as they say!! I spend more than half my life having and raising my children. To me thats time well spent! Monetary Value not much, Parent & Child ~ Priceless! While my x had a really good job *** the time, when we divorced, I refused alimony, didn't want it or half his pension either. It's not about the money, never was, never will be with me. I'm quite happy & comfortable on my own & don't want or need a man 2 support me! Male companionship is nice, don't get me wrong, I just don't need a man 2 do what I'm able 2 do 4 myself. Sorry guys, no disrespect 2 U! I'm a strong, independent woman, stubborn as H***! We learn by living & by doing, then sharing our experiences with others. On that note, I have recently started taking a course *** the College here, called New Direction Speaker's School. I'm supposed 2 B writing a 3 minute speech 4 next weeks class on a Social Justice issue. Speech writing isn't the problem, it's keeping it 2 only 3 minutes, that's the problem! How can one possibly research a topic, much less a Social Justice topic & speak 4 only 3 minutes, that's just getting into meat & potatoes of the topic after UR intro. This should be interesting!! I'm looking for a Real Man, who knows how 2 treat & RESPECT a Woman! Not some of the time, ALL OF The TIME! I don't think that's too much to ask!Thanks for reading!
