I like to read, shop (mostly window-shop), go to movies, walk outside, spend time with friends and family, and travel. I am trying to get back into running. I am not fast, and look like a dork when I run, but it is something just for me and allows me time to think, plan, and dream. I have a 14 year old daughter who lives with her father most of the time as I had to purchase a home outside of her school district, but I spend as much time with her as I can. Her father and I have a good relationship still and try to remain friends. Finding someone who understands that dynamic would be great. I am a registered nurse by trade, but I have a desk job now. Sometimes I miss patient contact, but then again....I am happy to not be wiping butts anymore! ;)I love all kinds of music. I like to dance-even though I look ridiculous doing it. I miss slow dancing with someone who is not afraid to get out on the dance floor and hold me in his arms with confidence. I like karaoke-and I sing HORRIBLY!!! I love to play board games, cards, or just sit on the couch and watch a movie...scary ones are my favorite!

I am a very family oriented person who enjoys sitting at home spending time reading, watching movies, playing games, relaxing, doing yard work in the summer and just hanging out with friends and family. I believe any relationship should start out as friends first. I hope to find my best friend/soulmate as a start to what will hopefully lead into an amazing future. Other things I like is walking hand in hand, lazy weekend mornings, spontaneous outings, star gazing, laying in bed listening to a nice thunderstorm.For exercise, I enjoy walking - I like to read, watch movies of all kinds, listen to all types of music, but prefer 80s and country.I am not a materialistic type of person but I admit I want someone who will treat me special and spoil me. Not with things but with attention and affection. I want to do the same for the special man in my life. I want to be the couple that everyone talks about how we are so in love after all those years! Let's face it, no relationship is perfect and there will always be some disagreements. I want someone who is willing to communicate through those disagreements.
