I love riding street and dirt bikes. I am more comfortable in jeans and a t-shirt, but have been told I clean up nice. I would much rather wear a sundress than an evening gown, and I hate high-heels (for some reason, foot pain and i just don't get along!). I love to laugh and joke around, but can be serious when necessary.Some of my favorites include..-em, singin' REALLY loud in my car/shower (when i think no one is listening), laughing with my friends, a man who loves his family and treats his Mama right (but doesn't need her permission to date who he likes), Cajun food, riding 4 wheelers/dirt bikes and getting so muddy, that after 2 showers, you still find a little mud somewhere, late 60's muscle cars, amateur drag races, and meeting new people!Some of my not-so favorites include...Closed-minded-bigoted-jerky people, self-righteousness, selfishness, guys who want me to send them inappropriate pictures of myself (wow, really?), flying next to anyone that isn't as relaxed as I am (by relaxed, I mean relaxed!;), people who cannot handle their drink and want to fight (such a turn off!), when someone says they are going to do something and just bails (i really hate that!), red lights, traffic jams, bad customer service, trimmed toenails on the floor (ugh!), illiteracy, poor parenting, mosquitos, fire ants, and bad drivers (which includes just about everyone, as I am the ONLY good driver I know, lol)!I REALLY MEAN THIS, SO PLEASE READ.....If you have a crazy ex, who likes to make the women in your life miserable, PLEASE, PLEASE DO NOT contact me! Hi, thanks for checking out my profile.I was off here for a while and learned some things during that time. I still love my life and I'm still a happy person (that will never change). However, the new things that I've learned: I REALLY just want to date right now. I'm not interested in too 'heavy' of a relationship. I'm also not interested in dating men that have younger children. I know it might sound harsh but I'm being realistic. My kids are older and prepping to launch. I'm looking forward to an era of limited responsibility, lol. If you're the kind of person that needs to flaunt half nude pics I wont be interested as low self respect/esteem is a huge turnoff. I like to stay busy (day trips, gardening, personal hobbies, projects on my home) and I don't watch T.V. very often. If you are into things like Reality T.V. or NASCAR etc. we probably wont have much in common. The Wings have to be in the playoffs for me to watch sports on T.V. but I do love watching almost anything live (I don't know what that's about either).My spiritual journey is important to me. I don't claim a religion. Where you're at in yours is not for me to judge either. I just think that there's more to discover in our lives than the what lies within the confines of religious doctrine. I love my little dog and spending time with him outdoors. I love my state and have traveled it extensively. I enjoy reading, often more than one book at a time. love good food, laughs and spending time with friends. I am beyond the drama in my life and don't care to deal with any in my relationships. I think chemistry is important, but might be willing to see if it develops...(not because I am willing to settle, I'm not, but because settling for mostly chemistry or all chemistry generally leads to short lived & less meaningful relationships). I am financially, spiritually & emotionally secure and looking for the same in a man. A work ethic is important to me in a mate, but you need to know that doesn't mean being a workaholic. Do you have a job or a career? If you don't enjoy your work, do you have good coping skills that allow you to have balance in other areas of your life? If life is enjoyable, you might be who I am looking for.For those scared off by my widow status, here's some reasons not to be. It's been a little over a year and a half;; I am not trying to replace him or compare; I am only human and miss the stability, companionship, fun and friendship that being in a committed relationship brings! I enjoy many activities and appreciate effort (and it doesn't have to be extraordinary or expensive!). It should include the atmosphere & time to chat and get to know each other. Coffee or ice cream is always yummy! Fun...is obviously fun!
