I am happily single, 19 years, but I still have old-fashioned values and like having a special someone to surprise. I love the idea of an old-fashioned relationship, with lots of fun! I can go from trying a new craft beer with them to throwing on a gown and be the last min +1 at their company party. One of my guy friends told me "Be careful there's sharks in them waters", I responded-" I am VERY interested in trying new things and I don't just mean things like para-sailing or a new language. I'm loving Tango and starting to learn Salsa! I like working out. I don't like to have time to watch TV but I do love a good action movie with comedy. 80s music is a must have mixed with Maroon 5 and Lady Gaga, no really, it helps my defensive driving here in Alb. lol I finally read my Uncle's book about his SEAL days. I couldn't put it down. Before moving here, though, I'd been to the 48 contiguous states in a car;; On some of these trips I stayed in huts; some luxury resorts. I love to camp and backpack and sleep under the stars; but I also appreciate ***threadcount sheets and room service. I enjoy trying new foods and listening to other languages; and I really like seeing how normal people live their lives all over the world.When not traveling around, I snow ski (though I'm not as brave as I used to be), onsen, snorkel, hike, and spend a lot of time trying new restaurants and bars. I'm not a complete foodie snob, but I do thoroughly enjoy good beer and wine and great food. Just this month I've been to a cheese tasting and a molecular dining restaurant. I am a coop member of Black Star Brewing and a frequent happy hour participant. There's little better than a great margarita or Mexican martini outside as the sun goes down, with a group of friends!Being a native Austinite, I like your typical hippie/Texan combinations of things -;;;;; driving through the Hill Country looking at wildflowers; etc. Too many foods, movies, music and authors to list.I feel I need to add that I'm just this side of a tree hugging hippie. My best friends are gay; I believe in global warming; I think all people deserve free health care; and that you're closer to God when you're out in nature. I'm not on here to be converted, chastised, or cussed at. Please refrain from *** if one of these is your goal. Hmmmmm. . . a great first date? I'm pretty easy in that regard.
