I look for quality and worth, so I don't believe that qualifies me as a high-maintenance chic...lol, and yes I have been there, done that, and am much stronger because of it. I think I know what works now....lol But the past is the past, and that's where it should stay.I'm just looking for that person that shares most of my interests, knows how to balance his life and his finances, has a good upbringing, a fun personality, and can enhance my life *** trying to bring me down or dominate it. Looking for the one that I can let me be comfortable in my own skin, no games, be silly or serious, and just gets it! I'm not much into the pressure of a first date, so I think just meeting for a drink, playing some pool, catching some live music or a ball game would be a great ice-breaker...that way the pressure isn't on us to talk only! What's with all of the drama? People are really putting too much thought into all of this. I don't want to "complete" you. I'm kind of looking for someone who's already complete. A friend! Maybe more...someday. I'm a divorced mom of a 14 yr old daughter. I volunteer a lot of my time, which I enjoy very much. I'm good with hanging out at home, as long as it's comfy & fun. I also like to travel, read, write, hang out with friends, cook, go to the movies, theater, museums... I don't like clubs; I like pubs... I love music & there's not a lot I won't listen to; not really into classical or rap. I love to go to concerts or bars with live music. I'm pretty laid back not into game playing; just looking for a friend to hang out & enjoy life, with the hope that maybe that can grow into more. I think a 1st date should be fun; a chance to talk & get to know each other but with fun distractions. It should be a chance to share an experience without pressure.

Hi there, let me start by saying if I check out your profile but don't say anything that doesn't necessarily mean im not interested. I usually like a Guy to make the first move.
