Okay... second time around on meetville -I have recently updated my profile, although the description of myself has not changed, I felt out of fairness to you, and me, I should really include what I am looking for. :o) First a little about me. I am a fitness buff. I have worked out for 20 plus years and enjoy doing so.You don't need to have that same level of affection, but you must take care of yourself. If you can't respect your own temple, you certainly won't respect mine. :o) To follow that , I eat very well, and due to that fact, I actually find enjoyment in grocery shopping. I also enjoy camping, hiking, flea-marketing, thrifting, love a good wine and checking out new places to go for eats. Dancing, a good night out dancing, oh yeah, not only that, its GREAT excersise. I have a set of great friends *** this point in my life , my gals, and enjoy meeting up w/ them *** times to chew the fat.I have a deep affection for motorcycles, and when spring is in the air, you will find me on one. Would be great If you ride as well, so *** times I can find myself on your's . Note, this is not a deal breaker , but certainly worth mentioning. I am looking for someone who is diverse in what they will do in terms of their spare time. No more, "sorry, I don't like to do that", attitude for me. Life is too short! You must have some drive, diversity, life skills, people skills. I LOVE to watch the news . as it keeps me connected w/ what is going on in the world. Please come to the table w/ some social skills. I mean If i ask you "did you watch the State of Union Address" and you're like "what".. "what's that ", this is not going to work. I am not being mean , but there is no commonality there, and that's what we are looking for right? I've achieved various goals in my life, but I truly believe we should "stretch" ourselves on a daily basis, so my goals change as life changes. I volunteer when and where I can and find it GIVES back in so many ways TEN FOLD. I aspire to be the best person I can possibly be for me, god, my family and friends. My family, my friends and my spirituality have carried me through some very difficult times, so Its important to me that I always try to the right thing whenever possible. I go to church on Sunday, not every , but as much as possible. I'm not a holy roller but please believe in something. I enjoy spending time w/ my family, so you will have to as well. No , not like sleep-overs...!! Just normal stuff that some are opposed to. If you fall into that category, please don't bother. I am not jealous person, I am very secure , and expect the same of my partner. One more time - expect the same of my partner. Okay, I think that's clear enough. LOL I can appreciate all kinds of music and listen to Adelle when irritated. Aahh.. the voice of an angel. Other than that, I'm very regimented Sunday through Thursday , up w/ the birds, down w/ the sun. Yep, you got it. Come Friday and Saturday , my belief is moderation is key, as I like to enjoy lifeLast but not least, please have your own place...THAT would not be defined as the room you grew up in as a child. Don't laugh , it happens. Sorry to those who fall into that footprint. I know times are tough, but that's when you dig in. I won't do "sleep-overs" in a room that you grew up in as a child. Isn't going to happen. Look forward to chatting.     June ***: Basically I am just me. I don't like or want to pretend to be something I'm not. Yes, I can be shy. Yes, I am a private person. And yes, I can be guarded with my feelings and emotions until I trust someone or feel comfortable. I know how I feel about things and apparently I may not express that well sometimes. At times I will remain silent because I don't really know what to say or how to respond to something...also if I don't want to just give a response and not be truthful. Please if you're assuming something about me or not sure my opinion or views on something ask for clarification. Also if I give you an answer, please listen to what I'm saying. If you've made your mind up without asking me or believing what I tell you, what is the point? I've tried to go into this looking at the present and not jumping too far ahead. If you're feeling a connection and you start talking about a future, I'm fine with that. However, if you're feeling that kind of connection, please communicate concerns with me. Don't let it get to the point of ending based on assumptions. I know a lot of guys do not like to communicate but I've never seen a successful relationship without communication. I also do not want to be in a relationship with poor communication. I do like to go do things but don't feel the need to be at a party or social event all the time. I watch tv/movies alot. I like to read and play games online. My main passion is animals. I like pretty much anything related to animals/nature and the beauty they bring to the world. My wish would be to have more time/energy to give volunteering with animals. I like alot of different types of music. I listen mainly to rock, pop, top 40, and country. I think the morals that people have these days are at an all time low. I don't think everything is black and white but I definitely think some things are just right or wrong.Ok..I thought I would update this. I understand that guys like to make that physical connection first. I, however, am a shy person. Yes, I want to talk on the phone more than a few times for 10 minutes before I meet up with someone. I have alot going on during the week so the only time I can really make that happen is sometime on the weekend. So I want to know that I'm at least interested in knowing someone better before I rearrange everything to meet them. Sorry if this sounds harsh but I just thought I'd let everyone know my expectations too. I like nice things but I'm a pretty simple down to earth person. Also, I love cats! I only have one that I adopted a couple years ago but I want more than one someday so just a warning if you are allergic to cats. I've negotiated alot in the past but I know this is one thing I won't spend the rest of my life without. Sorry.And a second update....I know every guy is looking for someone fun and no drama (whatever that means to them) I like to laugh like everyone but I am more introverted until you get to know me. I've had some pretty harsh blows the past couple years (who hasn't) but I do tend to be pretty serious and based in reality. To me a conversation is both people contributing...not listening to someone go on and on oblivious that I haven't said one word or vice versa me talking non-stop because he won't say anything or elaborate when I ask him questions. Also, if you want kids put that on your profile. Don't put undecided and then start asking rather personal questions about whether I'm capable of having kids in the first or second conversation. Awkward! For the record, not aware of any issues but for those unaware age is a factor for women in getting pregnant. I'm also not going to give every person I talk to my medical history. It's like you guys are looking to buy a brood mare or something. LOL I do have some joint/nerve issues......sucks all around but can't be changed. If you're trying to meet someone probably not the best idea to go on and on about some other woman that's absolutely wonderful that you're friends with. Are you trying to meet someone until she becomes available...c'mon. I tend to fall for someone the more I get to know them so this is a hard way to try to meet someone. I know that it won't happen immediately upon talking...it would just be nice if it felt like the possibility was there with someone. I read some profiles and don't respond...not because I might not be interested but figure I'm not their type. So go ahead, I might surprise you. :) Well when it comes to this I'm not very creative. I like casual things and a relaxed atmosphere. I like zoos or walking through a nice park. Unfortunately, I'm not a huge fan of the extreme heat in summer. Someplace where we can talk some but also just hang out. I just want both of us to feel comfortable. P.S. I don't drink coffee.
