I'm open minded, passionate and a little kooky. Lol. I have a 15 year old son who is still at home with me, of course, and a 5 year old grandson who I am raising. I also love to read...my favorite part of Sunday is the Times book review...I always have a book, or two, or three with me, in my impossibly over-stuffed bag. I'm a big fan of old movies, good food, good wine and the Yankees. I enjoy writing and am thinking of turning some of my odder ideas and rants into a blog. 5 perfume. Autumn, snow on Christmas, waterfalls, wishing on stars and pistachio icecream. I've recently become slightly addicted to Discovery ID...Wicked Attraction, Deadly Women, Nightmare Next Door...lol...you get the picture...I have a thing for cops... I also love old episodes of I Love Lucy and Bewitched. I love to cook, and that's what you will find me doing, most evenings. The beach is one of my favorite places, especially at night. Crashing waves under a star filled sky is a religious experience....really...I'm not really sure what I'm looking for...but I guess most of us arent...until we find it. I just want to add something that I believe will save us both a bit of time...I am a huge lover of animals-domesticated and wild and I have a dog and three cats who are all very much a part of my family. If you do not like animals, I am not the one for you. If you are in any way unkind to animals, I am not the one for you. If you hunt- any kind of animal, with any type of weapon- I am not the one for you. I hope you all find who and what you are looking for...thanks for stopping by my profile... I have made a lot of friends, both in my department and in outside departments, that I am quite loyal to, would give them the shirt off my back, as I know they would to me as well. I have varied tastes in music, from rock to country, oldies to some rap. My "adult" daughter introduced me to Phantom of the Opera. Never thought I would like opera. I do like that! Guess that indicates that I am willing to try new things. I am always up for a challenge, don't mind getting my hands dirty, born and raised country girl. I am not into drama, I am very low maintenance, in fact, known to be cheap and thrifty. My parents taught me the importance of working hard for your money and spending wisely. Not a shopper! You will not find me sporting a Coach purse, lol. I do like dressing up occasionally, used to wearing scrubs to work, so something different is fun, but just as happy to run around the house all comfy in my Tshirt. I am not on this site to just hook up, so please be honest, if you are bored with the person you have at home, do not contact me, or at least wait until you are no longer living together or the divorce is final. Conversation over a beer, wine, water, meal, or while out walking. I want to get to know you. I am easy going, present your idea, I'm probably up for it.
