About Me

I have been married twice and just ended a 5 year relationship last November. I'm not looking to get married again. I just want to date and have fun. I'm not ready for anything serious right now. I have two grown kids. My oldest is in the navy. My youngest is in college. I think I'm pretty funny, I'm always cracking myself up with some corny remark. I love to laugh and if you're funny that's a huge plus! I like to watch movies, all kinds. I love to hang out with friends. Mostly I like rock music, love going to concerts. I like to go out dancing too. I'm not very outdoorsy, but I like to go to the lake or beach. I go to the gym on occasion but I am a plus size gal. If you like skinny girls, keep looking. I probably won't message you first because most guys seem to be looking for a girl with a perfect body and I'm far from it. I'm not a sports fan. I have a lot of tattoos and I'll probably get more. I don't care if you don't have tats, but you can't hate on mine. I've been a hairstylist for over 10 years, I love my job. I make my own schedule and I love it! Friends and family are very important to me. I love to travel. looking for a SMART, funny, guy who has his act together. I need to stress smart, if everything in your profile is misspelled I will most likely not be interested. Being able to have intelligent conversation is pretty important. I don't smoke and I don't want to be with a smoker. I only drink occasionally and I'm not interested in someone who drinks daily, even if its just one or two. And most importantly, I'm so not interested in anyone who does drugs of any kind. I have never been with a romantic, attentive man, and I'd really like to be. I want someone who is thoughtful and sweet and affectionate and who isn't afraid to be that way in front of his friends. I'm not a religious person, that's not to say I don't have morals or values. I believe you need to treat people the way you want to be treated. I am a good person and want to be with a good person. PS... I own a Harley motorcycle helmet! If you say you want to "meet me" send me a message or I won't reply to that I prefer to date within my own race. Sorry if that offends you, it's just my preference. its scary to meet for the first time. maybe a public place where we can relax and have a drink. Starbucks would be perfect

Looking for: man. In age: 42-52

Hi there! :)A little about me...I am positive, happy, active, confident, independent, spontaneous and love to try new things and meet new people. I enjoy being active and bike, hike, swim and go to the gym regularly. Always up for a good glass of wine, grilling with friends, a football game, or snuggling on the couch watching a movie. I've traveled extensively in my personal and professional life and have had the opportunity to experience some incredible places. There are still lots of places to explore. Let's put our lists together and be adventurous.I am looking for a man who is active, confident, intelligent, has a positive outlook, and likes to have fun. I look forward to meeting the right person to laugh with and enjoy life. A cute smile is a bonus and will definitely make me melt. :) I'm up for anything. What we do on the first date isn't as important as the opportunity to explore our chemistry together.

Looking for: man. In age: 38-48

Hi boys! I'm a hard-working, educated and loyal girl looking for similar qualities in a guy. Is that you? I'm in my early 40s, but think I could pass to be in my 30s. I'm not a gigantic girl, but I have my share of curves. I'm no stick figure or even "average." If that's what you prefer, move on, your loss. At 5'2" - well, I'm short; though I've never really known that to be a deal breaker, right? I have a genuine smile and big pretty blue eyes. I like to look my best (makeup, jewelry, fix my hair, etc***but don't take that to mean "high maintenance."I like to keep busy, though down time once in a while is nice. I've been divorced for more than five years and have no children, nor do I want any. I've got no crazy ex's and I avoid drama like the plague. I hate that crap. I have my head on straight, have goals and priorities in life, and my emotions are in check. I have a positive outlook and still hope to find my someone special. I'm college educated and have worked at the same place for about 18 years. I have a great job that I enjoy. I'm self-sufficient both financially and around my house. Do not read that as I'm rich - I'm not - haha - but neither am I looking for a sugar daddy or handy man to take care of me. I'm looking for a good guy to spend time with and share fun times and experiences. Someone who is loyal and will treat me well and make me feel special. Someone I could take home some day to meet my parents and be proud to introduce to my family. Someone who is looking for those same qualities in a girl. As far as hobbies, I'm a bit of a conundrum so don't do any judging until you meet me. 1. I'm pretty musically involved. I see it as my creative outlet with some really great friends. I love music in general, really. Going to live gigs at local venues is great fun. 2. I have a nice little sport bike. I like to ride. Either on my bike or the back of yours if you are a good rider...lol. 3. I like to tinker in my garage. Mostly cleaning and shining my car/bike or fixing things that went boom at the house. [#2 and #3 do not make me a biker chic or a butch. I just spent a lot of time with my Dad in the garage as a kid and I'm comfy there.] 4. This could be a deal breaker for some of you boys out there....I hate to cook. haha. Sorry! Sooooo, if you DO enjoy cooking - immediate bonus points. Lol5. I like to work around my house and keep things in order and nice. I especially enjoy things like DIY projects and yard work and the satisfaction and pride they bring when I'm done for the day. I think my best asset is my personality. I'm easy going and happy. I have a great sense of humor (dry, sarcastic, twisted at times - not my fault! I worked with a bunch of engineers for years) and I love to have fun. I have always been one to abide by the work hard/play hard adage - so far, so good. I try hard not to let little things bother me. Maybe that comes from the maturity of being in my 40s? Maybe it comes from lessons learned from divorce? I don't know for sure. But I do know life is short - we have to choose to make the best of each and every day! A positive attitude is a must! As far as age? It doesn't really matter to me as long as you don't just sit around and watch tv all day! I like to go and see and do! I suppose what's most important is if we click. That's what I'm looking for. The spark. Could we go on a road trip and get along the whole way there AND back?? And still want to see each other the next day? If you've made it this far and still think "me too!" then you are someone I'm interested in getting to know! So, that was probably too long, but if it sounded interesting to you, get at me (and please have a picture or two so I know you have more than three teeth and your hair isn't longer than mine.) Tell me why you think we'd click. And if we don't click on a dating level - oh well, maybe we'll make a new friend along the way. Two of my best buddies resulted from dates that were great but just didn't have that romantic spark.First dates are usually nerve racking, so let's just call it meeting up for a bit to see if there's that ever elusive spark I mentioned. No movies or loud concerts - my only request. How can you get to know someone if you can't talk and interact!?Ok, your turn. GO!!!
