I'm a mom of 2 cool kids. Girl, 22 and Boy, 16. I've lived in the same town for 40 years. I'm close to my family. I'm very independant and I love to work. I've done hair for 18 years. Right now its Barbra Streisand...I read alot of biographies. Maybe I'm nosey...idk...I laugh alot. I love people. I could sit and watch them all day... people are very interesting to me. I DO NOT cook!! Apparently I'm horrible at it anyway... I did it for years and according to my kids, they shouldn't be alive today because of it.. So now that my daughter is grown with her own family, and my son is older I just don't do it.. Sorry.. I'm looking for a nice guy. A guy who's chilled out like me. Nothing on the wild side. I'm not here for anything crazy. I want someone who knows how he wants his relationship to go. I know what I want and where I'm gonna end up in the end of my life and you gotta know the same. I'd like to meet someone and maybe go to dinner or somewhere nice where we could sit and talk. I think a movie would be a bad first date. Sorry... I am a mother of 2 boys and I work two jobs so my time is precious.I do want to live life to the fullest and get the most out of my time. I am a teacher and work for weight watchers so I like to teach and inform. I'm into good health and activity but like to let loose as well. I would rather play on the beach than go to a gym to get exercise. I like to watch movies at home versus theatres because it's more romantic. I want to find someone who can compliment my life, if you have kids great. That means you know what it takes. It takes an equal partnership to make any relationship work. I am a single mother of a 19 year old I am doing my best to have a life and be a good influence. She is no longer living at home on a full time due to school. I like to think that I will try almost anything (yes there are limits)once -- twice if it was fun. I feel that it helps keep life interesting and keeps you young. I enjoy being with my friends or relaxing at home with a good book. I also enjoy cuddling on the couch while watching a good movie. I try to keep a positive outlook and tend to smile a lot. Keeps me young at heart and has the added bonus of making others wonder what I am up to. Believe it or not I hate shopping and only go when I have no other choice. This drives my daughter nuts and makes my friends laugh when they know I have a full day of it. I don't regret anything that I have done in my past, I may look back on it and wonder what the heck was I thinking. (some of these fall under trying something once) I like to think of the bad choices as a life lesson and move on. I think this makes people stronger and helps you live your life to the best of your ability. I do have one tattoo on my shoulder, if you can't look past this then good luck to you. What I am looking for well.. I am looking for someone who does not intimidated by someone who is honest and can be just as honest in return. (This includes being upfront about being interested or not. I don't want to waste your time or have you waste mine.) I don't judge people by looks and money and I am old enough to realize that it is more important on how you act and treat others that makes you worth knowing. You do have to have a good smile and a sense of humor. As I have not yet perfected my mind reading abilities I would like to find someone that can actually hold a conversation as communication is required to build a good relationship. Other then that we will see... Note: I did put I am a smoker as I am in the process of kicking the habit but some days are better then others. It would have to be a place that we could hear each other otherwise what is the point.
