I prefer Italians, it's what I am and understand, but have dated "white guys" since my divorce. (When I say "white guys", I mean NON-Italians. LOL) Does that make me a racist? NO, it means I know what I want (or like), and that's it. I don't date women either, but that doesn't make me a homophobe. (Some people get very offended when I say that I'll date within my race only. I'm just clarifying that point so that you don't waste your time, or mine, by chatting me up. It is what it is). I also won't date a Jehovah's Witness or anyone who doesn't celebrate Christmas or Easter. I currently attend a non-denominational church that has a large following of Catholics (or former Catholics, you might say). I was raised catholic, but do not agree with 100% of the church's opinions. I believe in same-sex marriage and I am pro-choice. (For now) Okay, I'm finally on my laptop and can really update this profile.I want someone who is as IN love with me as I am with them. Someone who thinks of me first thing in the morning, and last thing at night, because if they're that special to me, I'll be thinking of them at those same times, as well as during the day, but you know what I'm getting at here.No alcoholics, drug addicts, or ex-cons. If you have nice teeth, it's a huge plus! (people with bad teeth are a turn-off for me)I still love to go out dancing, though I havent done it in a LONG time, unless you count the weddings I've been to. Saw the Zac Brown Band last year, and wanted to see Kenny Chesney, as well as Keith Urban, but didn't. I can appreciate old rock now (70's & 80's stuff), though i was totally a disco girl back then (still kinda am - LOL)I love going to sporting events in-person; hockey, baseball, basketball. I've only been to one football game, back in the early-80's, and I kind of enjoy those better on TV. Replays and sportscasters' recaps were what I missed while AT the game.I love to read, though havent in a few years. Read a lot of King, Grisham, and Koontz. I love movies, but not so much horror movies. I can only watch those in the middle of the day when there is sunlight and PLENTY of time in-between before i go to bed, otherwise I won't be able to sleep.I'm hoping to get into running this week. I'm going to an informational meeting to see what the commitment is, etc. I'd like to lose about 20 pounds, as well as get into better shape. I used to have a trainer for weightlifting, and I wish i could still afford it because it did wonders with my back and core muscles.One last thing, I do not give my phone number out very easily. I need to get to know you via these messages before I go to that next step. Coffee for sure. I'm a DD fan, so it wouldn't have to be Starbucks, tho I like their ambience for a first meeting.

I am a single mother of a 19 year old I am doing my best to have a life and be a good influence. She is no longer living at home on a full time due to school. I like to think that I will try almost anything (yes there are limits)once -- twice if it was fun. I feel that it helps keep life interesting and keeps you young. I enjoy being with my friends or relaxing at home with a good book. I also enjoy cuddling on the couch while watching a good movie. I try to keep a positive outlook and tend to smile a lot. Keeps me young at heart and has the added bonus of making others wonder what I am up to. Believe it or not I hate shopping and only go when I have no other choice. This drives my daughter nuts and makes my friends laugh when they know I have a full day of it. I don't regret anything that I have done in my past, I may look back on it and wonder what the heck was I thinking. (some of these fall under trying something once) I like to think of the bad choices as a life lesson and move on. I think this makes people stronger and helps you live your life to the best of your ability. I do have one tattoo on my shoulder, if you can't look past this then good luck to you. What I am looking for well.. I am looking for someone who does not intimidated by someone who is honest and can be just as honest in return. (This includes being upfront about being interested or not. I don't want to waste your time or have you waste mine.) I don't judge people by looks and money and I am old enough to realize that it is more important on how you act and treat others that makes you worth knowing. You do have to have a good smile and a sense of humor. As I have not yet perfected my mind reading abilities I would like to find someone that can actually hold a conversation as communication is required to build a good relationship. Other then that we will see... Note: I did put I am a smoker as I am in the process of kicking the habit but some days are better then others. It would have to be a place that we could hear each other otherwise what is the point.
