About Me

I selected "long term relationship" as my intent and ultimately what I want but, really feel like we have to be friends first! So lets go do something fun, have lots of laughs and if something more evolves from friendship that would be fantastic! I currently go to school part-time and work the typical 40hours/week. But, have plenty of time to dedicate to the right person. Not going to make someone a priority in my life...if I'm only an option in theirs.I really enjoy doing 5k's & 10k's but, I'm not competitive with it. The charities that benefit from these runs are my main reason for doing them. Oh...and some events have an icy cold free beer waiting for ya at the end! :) Plus, I like my group of running buddies. It was a fantastic sense of accomplishment. Hoping to make it an annual event!When it comes to sports...I enjoy just about everything! Love my Jayhawk hoops look forward to each season! I am goofball most of the time and always find a way to laugh at myself! I have a sarcastic side...so, fair warning! :) I also know when its time to be serious and feel like honesty is the ONLY policy.     I am a single mother of a 19 year old I am doing my best to have a life and be a good influence. She is no longer living at home on a full time due to school. I like to think that I will try almost anything (yes there are limits)once -- twice if it was fun. I feel that it helps keep life interesting and keeps you young. What I am looking for well.. I am looking for someone who does not intimidated by someone who is honest and can be just as honest in return. (This includes being upfront about being interested or not. I don't want to waste your time or have you waste mine.) I don't judge people by looks and money and I am old enough to realize that it is more important on how you act and treat others that makes you worth knowing. You do have to have a good smile and a sense of humor. As I have not yet perfected my mind reading abilities I would like to find someone that can actually hold a conversation as communication is required to build a good relationship. Other then that we will see... Note: I did put I am a smoker as I am in the process of kicking the habit but some days are better then others. It would have to be a place that we could hear each other otherwise what is the point.
