Hopefully you'll find some humor in some of what I've written, if not...oops! They say honesty is the best policy---here it is!I am just your normal, average woman. I have moods, emotions and feelings. I'm very compassionate and understanding...I think that has something to do with the overdose of bad luck and hardships I have fallen on the past few years. I am not materialistic at all but that doesn't mean I don't like nice things, I just don't demand them nor do I pout when I don't get them. I have 2 older sons and A LOT of time on my hands so I would really like someone who has more than a few hours a week to squeeze me into their schedule. I'm not into the part-time thing, to me, that's just a waste of time.I'M IN NO RUSH. If it doesn't feel right on BOTH sides then it's not worth wasting each other's time. (NOT negotiable. No, I'm not kidding and yes, I have more than a few very good reason for wanting someone local. My zip code is ***, please look it up if you're not sure how far you are from me).Is close to my age ( I generally like guys who are younger...IDK why that is but it just is).Is 5'10' or taller~I don't want to be taller than you if i'm wearing heels (Due to an ankle injury, I very rarely wear heels so, yes, this IS negotiable)Doesn't do drugs (of any kind-they're totally unacceptable to me)Doesn't smoke or only smokes occasionally like when he has a few drinks (I quit less than a year ago so it's still hard for me to be around cigarettes.)Has some type of a job and can pay his own bills (I'm too poor to support you. I do, however, know how to 'behave' myself in public, meaning that I am not loud, aggressive or obnoxious in any way. Yes, I do smile and I have all my teeth and they're not busted up in any way. I just really dislike having my picture taken whether it be by me or someone else so what's here is what I have, PLEASE don't ask for more. Besides, I can't tell you how many people post fake pictures, old pictures, blurry pictures or pictures with sunglasses on and look nothing like you thought they'd look. While sex is an important part of a relationship, meeting a few to several times casually does NOT constitute a relationship! I am not here for sex, I can go to my local bar and get that any time I want if that was what I was into-which I am not.I ruined my ankle a couple of years ago which means I can't run, jump, hop, skip, jog, dance, wrestle, sky dive, ski, skate, snow tube (not that I did these things before but I just wanted you to be aware that I do have limitations)...ah screw it, I can't do sh*t and it sucks but it is what it is. I can, however, walk and I can do it just fine! No, I don't limp and no, I don't use a cane or furniture to help me get around :-)~ I'm not into the whole 'first date' thing. I'd prefer to meet and hang out somewhere comfortable and casual (Dunkin Donuts, the mall, the library, (huh?) etc) where we can just talk and get to know each other with no pressure.

    Okay. Here goes....By day I work with children and families in making healthy and safe choices. While I absolutely love my work and wouldn't change it for anything, I've realized I need to start to make time for me ;)After work I try to practice yoga...emphasis on try! or I try to work on my running...again, emphasis on try! I admit I love a great cup of coffee. Doesn't matter where its from just as long its hot and fresh!! A nice glass of wine is also great to induldge in, especially after a long week!What am I looking for in a man? First off, someone who is genuine and honest. Those 2 qualities are a must! Humor and kindness are also extremely important. I guess I want someone who I can be myself with and share what life has to offer ;)I consider myself to be patient, caring, and trustworthy...at least I hope so!     I think of myself as "the girl next door". I have been told that I'm funny and good to the people I care about. I'm open to all sorts of experiences.
