So, like many of us, I have left and returned to this site a number of times.I can't say with any authority that I think this time might be different or yield different results, but there is a very hesitant optimist somewhere in my head that says it might be worth the chance.I am always drawn to much more elaborate and revealing profiles that really show some effort and an attempt to present oneself in a more complete way. But, that's me; and I have not found that most people care to take the time to really read these; so this round, I am going to give the seriously abridged version.I am a geeky, intelligent, well-read, well-traveled, devoted Mom of one, who loves music (singing, flute, harp, bass, didgeridoo, Irish whistle), reading (my Kindle goes everywhere with me), environmentalist, deeply fluent in sarcasm, open-minded, gaming (Horde only ;), writing, so Irish I burn in the moonlight, red-haired, politically involved, non red meat eating, volunteering, passionate, loyal, loving and devoted and very affectionate woman who isn't looking to be "completed."Oh; and for the record, being honest, I had selected the dreaded "BBW" as my body type. I felt compelled to downgrade it, however, as I am not one of those woman who *thinks* "Big is Beautiful." I couldn't disagree more. But, I selected it because I will not misrepresent myself to anyone. That being said, my body is changing every day: Stronger, leaner, healthier. I have drastically changed my way of eating, do strength training, intense cardio and intend to be at my ideal weight aka "smoking hot" (yes, you can quote me), within a year. So, if you have an issue with my "current" size; no harm, no foul and I understand. IF however, you see the woman inside and are interested in seeing her get healthier and hotter every day, then by all means, say hello. :) A really low-pressure meeting to visit, talk and see if that elusive spark is there.

I'm looking for someone to spend the rest of my life with. I'm hoping God will point me to him soon! Don't know if I will find him on here but it want hurt to look. Really tired of being alone..want someone to share the good and the bad and there has been a lot of bad lately..so the good has to be coming right?? I really hope so!!!I'm looking for my other half...he has to be loving and selfless..put others first and expect his mate to do the same...Don't want anyone that's jealous and controlling!!!! I've been on my own now for 9 years..I know how to take care of myself but it would be nice to have someone that wants to take care of me. I love cooking for my friends and family...like trying all different kinds of foods and trying out new recipes...Would be nice to someday open a little restaurant...not one of those fancy places but just a little dive of my own.I like watching collage football...GO GATORS!! (also like FSU and BAMA)....not big on pro football but do like the Falcons! I also like watching NASCAR...!! I'm not much for the bar scene anymore..but going every now and then is ok...just to dance. I want to try new things, get out there and do stuff, just need to find that someone to do them with. Some where public...Hey!!! I don't know you!! You could be an ax murderer or something!! LOL! Some where we can talk and see if there is a connection..then just go from there.

I have tried this site before so to you who are still here, Hello ;)I could say i am divorced as that as the truth, but after almost 15 years of being divorced, I'd likely now say I am single, don't you think?I sure hoped by now I would have found the love of my life that understands what the word committment means, but I haven't so I am still looking and hopefully I will meet you.I listen well, have a quirky sense of humor, can find the good in almost anyone, happy for others' accomplishments, enjoy diversity, like trying new things, etc.I own my own home, worked myself to the bone the last year to save for it, so I am happy to have something of my own again. I guess you could say i get bored at jobs so I look to do new things that I can learn. The mundane is just not for me. Again I am diverse, enjoy coffee, cappuchinno, movies, a nice restaurant, the theatre, casino, etc. I try to avoid smokey environments, it makes me sick, so for you that are smokers, pls. understand its not you, its my nose, lol. I try not to hang around smokers as I don't want to change you, I am looking to enjoy your company. So I hope we all find those special people to make our lives as happy as could be.
