First and foremost I'm a mother of three beautiful children two girls ages 25 and 18 and my only son is 8. Being a single mother they are my primary concern and they are a package deal. My kids tell me I look like an old grandma when I'm making a quilt but quilting is a dying art that I enjoy so much being a part of . I love to go and listen to the local bands and dance the night away, always have loved to dance i guess my favorite music is country I also like the 80's music. Please no Rap!!! Why listen to something you can't even understand what their saying half the time. LOL. I love the Cardinals Baseball team and love to go to their games when I can. I love Nascar racing and would love to be able to enjoy going to a few more races in my life time. I believe somewhere out here on this site may be Mr. Right who knows haven't found him yet, but I sure hope he's getting close!!! I just want someone to have fun with and for them to become my best friend and take things slow, slow is always good. Why rush into anything when two people can enjoy each other for who they are and enjoy just being great friends for awhile. You must like each other before any other feelings can surface I'm sure of that. I want everyone to enjoy themselves on this site and keep their chin up because like all of us we are all here to find the perfect person for ourselves, it just takes longer for some than others. So, like many of us, I have left and returned to this site a number of times.I can't say with any authority that I think this time might be different or yield different results, but there is a very hesitant optimist somewhere in my head that says it might be worth the chance.I am always drawn to much more elaborate and revealing profiles that really show some effort and an attempt to present oneself in a more complete way. But, that's me; and I have not found that most people care to take the time to really read these; so this round, I am going to give the seriously abridged version.I am a geeky, intelligent, well-read, well-traveled, devoted Mom of one, who loves music (singing, flute, harp, bass, didgeridoo, Irish whistle), reading (my Kindle goes everywhere with me), environmentalist, deeply fluent in sarcasm, open-minded, gaming (Horde only ;), writing, so Irish I burn in the moonlight, red-haired, politically involved, non red meat eating, volunteering, passionate, loyal, loving and devoted and very affectionate woman who isn't looking to be "completed."Oh; and for the record, being honest, I had selected the dreaded "BBW" as my body type. I felt compelled to downgrade it, however, as I am not one of those woman who *thinks* "Big is Beautiful." I couldn't disagree more. But, I selected it because I will not misrepresent myself to anyone. That being said, my body is changing every day: Stronger, leaner, healthier. I have drastically changed my way of eating, do strength training, intense cardio and intend to be at my ideal weight aka "smoking hot" (yes, you can quote me), within a year. So, if you have an issue with my "current" size; no harm, no foul and I understand. IF however, you see the woman inside and are interested in seeing her get healthier and hotter every day, then by all means, say hello. :) A really low-pressure meeting to visit, talk and see if that elusive spark is there.

I know I sound like a smartass but I really am a nice girl. I just say what I mean and I shouldnt have to apologize for that. I am single by choice and don't need a man out of desperation. At this point, I don't believe "The One" exists. I like TALL men!! That means over 6 foot. I love 5 inch heels and I prefer not to look like Tom and Katie! Looks are a plus but personality goes a long way. I am not a skinny girl but not fat either. I like to eat! I'm not a Barbie Doll so I don't really want a Ken. I believe in being honest and mutual respect. I have been to Starbucks but I think paying $5 for coffee is stupid. I will just have a Diet Coke. My job has shown me that one can never be too clean. I can be jaded at times but for the most part I am happy. I am high maintenance but I maintain myself so what does it matter? I rarely drink and smoking is gross!! Pink is my favorite color.
