So, like many of us, I have left and returned to this site a number of times.I can't say with any authority that I think this time might be different or yield different results, but there is a very hesitant optimist somewhere in my head that says it might be worth the chance.I am always drawn to much more elaborate and revealing profiles that really show some effort and an attempt to present oneself in a more complete way. But, that's me; and I have not found that most people care to take the time to really read these; so this round, I am going to give the seriously abridged version.I am a geeky, intelligent, well-read, well-traveled, devoted Mom of one, who loves music (singing, flute, harp, bass, didgeridoo, Irish whistle), reading (my Kindle goes everywhere with me), environmentalist, deeply fluent in sarcasm, open-minded, gaming (Horde only ;), writing, so Irish I burn in the moonlight, red-haired, politically involved, non red meat eating, volunteering, passionate, loyal, loving and devoted and very affectionate woman who isn't looking to be "completed."Oh; and for the record, being honest, I had selected the dreaded "BBW" as my body type. I felt compelled to downgrade it, however, as I am not one of those woman who *thinks* "Big is Beautiful." I couldn't disagree more. But, I selected it because I will not misrepresent myself to anyone. That being said, my body is changing every day: Stronger, leaner, healthier. I have drastically changed my way of eating, do strength training, intense cardio and intend to be at my ideal weight aka "smoking hot" (yes, you can quote me), within a year. So, if you have an issue with my "current" size; no harm, no foul and I understand. IF however, you see the woman inside and are interested in seeing her get healthier and hotter every day, then by all means, say hello. :) A really low-pressure meeting to visit, talk and see if that elusive spark is there.

I was so looking forward to meeting someone who wants to have fun who enjoys the same things I do - after meeting a few people on here, I guess I am now concerned with meeting someone who is honest - I am a very honest person and expect others to behave the same. I don't have time to play games with people . . . Anyways. . . I like all the general fun things like rock concerts, the beach, the tiki bar, hanging out with friends, nature and gardening. I love my family and friends and love to spend time with them all! My sons are my world too-anyone who does not like kids need not respond. I am also a hardworking, self-sufficient woman and I love my job! I am always working towards furthering my education I am proud to say I have a Six Sigma Yellow Belt and will be studying for my Green Belt and am presently studying for my Enrolled Agent Exam. Would like someone who enjoys the same things (isn't that always the best anyway:) BTW-I don't mind texting but I really prefer a conversation vs. sending messages. I feel that things get lost in messaging. I hope to meet someone with a good heart and an appreciation for dry humor. . . I don't ask for a lot I am very independent, but I do ask for honesty. I will not entertain dating several people at once (just creepy). If you message me and don't hear from me - it is probably because I am not interested (no hard feelings). I do not like being on here at all, but my friends and family have had wonderful luck. So I persevere . . . Depends on the person's likes but somewhere we could talk and learn more about one another!
