POF wants to know if I have a car. Why is that one of the main questions? Is this so one can immediately assess if someone has a recent DUI? Honestly meetville, I think you should consider replacing this question with “Do you have bi-polar disorder.”I’m easy to get to know I like to laugh and I like to have fun. Everyone says that. I mean seriously, have you ever read a profile that says “laughter and fun just plain tick me off”? I think at least once a day you should laugh until your cheeks hurt. If you don't, you are hanging with the wrong people. I’ve been called a free spirit which I think is just a nice way of saying “you are super strange.” I’ m ok with either. I’d rather be anything but ordinary (thank you Avril Lavigne). Let’s just say, I color outside the lines. I was married for 18 years and I have been single for 4 years. I have 2 amazing (not even kidding) boys ages 21 & 16. My oldest is in college and I share ***custody with their dad which (let’s face it people) is God's plenty when they are teenagers.....just kidding.....sorta.My special someone has to be someone I can laugh with and someone who wants to explore every minute of every day with a positive attitude (at least most of the time). Someone I can tell anything and everything and who will share with me the same. I like to go out and I like to stay home. It really doesn't matter much to me. I just want to feel butterflies in my tummy. That's the BEST!I have 2 dogs. They collectively weigh 10 pounds. Gucci is a toy poodle and Carol is a Teacup Chorkie. YES, they do sleep with me. They were here first and they think I’m beautiful in the morning! Ya gotta like dogs.     New Year, new shot at finding love 3 I have been single a long time (5.5 years) I am tired of being single. I want to find "the one" . I am old fashioned and honestly would rather meet someone organically in person, but lets face it when your over 40 there really isn't that many places you can go and meet people. I have met some really interesting people on here, just nothing that has worked out for a long term relationship which is what I am looking for. Ideally the man for me is between 30 and 50. I am a self proclaimed book nerd. I love to read. I also love sports and am a die hard Jazz fan. In the winter you can find me inside reading a book, watching a game on tv, or perhaps going to a movie. In the summer I love to be outside, love the heat! My favorite tv shows at the moment are Breaking Bad and The Big Bang Theory. My all time favorite has to be Seinfled. I have watched them all multiple times (with commentary, nerd alert! I'm an easy going person that can make fun of most anything. I love everything from Skydiving to the Sunday crossword puzzle. I think I am a fairly random person, my interests /likes vary widely. I can enjoy Dr Pepper and Hot wings as much as a glass of wine and a fancy dinner. I could be comfortable in flip flops or high heels. I can appreciate a good conversation and am really looking for that person I can connect with on every level. Asking a lot but I know he is out there! Coffee, lunch, drinks, something casual where we can talk, I HATE doing the "what do you want to do?" "I don't know? What do you want to do?" game. Just plan something and I will go along for the ride.
