About Me

I'm not a genius by a long shot, but I do like to talk about more than the weather or shoes...Among other things, I worked as a teacher.. now I have to concentrate on finishing my masters, which is taking me longer than i anticipated :S I'm creative, pretty outgoing, like to travel, love tattoos and art, film, and love trying out new stuff in general especially if it's a little scary (for eg I'm doing the Tough Mudder in July and also want to learn to surf this year...)After my MA, I plan to continue teaching- it's the job I love with a few months off in the year to pursue other adventures...When I'm not doing the above, I'm hanging out with friends and/or my kids. I have a lot of love in my life already- would be great to have someone to share it with, but I have no interest in dating for the sake of not being alone... I love most kinds of music - especially the live and loud kind... first date? depends on the day and what i'm in the mood for! Could be checking out a gallery, going for a coffee or drink and shooting the shit, or an old fashioned movie? I also love to eat real food, too.
