ABOUT ME: Thanks for checking me out! I'm here because it sounded like fun, and I am ready to settle down. I love to have fun and will try almost anything once. I am independent and I teach high school Spanish. I am outgoing and can get along with people, but don't ramble like an idiot. I speak when I have something to say. I smile a lot and love to laugh. I'm very easy going with lots of interests. I have a positive attitude and am easy to please. I like art and most music, Spanish and English. I can stay in or go out. I love to travel and studied in Spain for my master's degree. It was an experience like no other! Living abroad is enlightening. I like Longhorn Football and most pets. My family is very important to me and want to have my own someday. I have so many goals, both personal and for my career, that I want to share with someone else. I am conservative, a practicing Catholic, and am looking for someone who is the same. If things work out, then we'll raise children with the same ideals. I don't play games and don't want anyone else that does. I am motivated, sensitive, caring, and honest seeking someone similar, but different enough to pique my interest. ;) I believe that we can always be learning. In my free time I like to spend time with my family and friends. I also enjoy exercise and naps. :)I am self aware and happy with who I am. I have no problems being alone and am comfortable with my own thoughts.     I'm new in town since June. I was just tired of the cold and ready for a change. I recently finished my Associates Degree in Criminal Justice and plan to continue my education next year in hopes of completing my Bachelors Degree. I do not have children, but love everyone elses all the same. He's a special needs dog, but very loving. He was born with juvenille cataracts and as he has aged he has lost 95% of his sight. He's like any other ordinary dog. Playful and a great little companion. I just have to make sure I dont change the furniture around too much to keep him from bumping into everything :-)Some of my most enjoyable times are traveling, spending time at the beach, relaxing by the pool, watching a good movie, eating out, and going to outside concert venues. I like most all music, but my favorite is country or hip hop dance. I'm not a big party girl when it comes to the club scene, but I do like the occassional night out dancing. That's usually once or maybe twice a month if that. I've taken some time off from dating. My last relationship ended November ***and I have been focussing on getting myself settled in a new place as well as establishing employment. Now that I have accomplished that goal I am ready to get back into the dating world. I'm not into guys that drink a lot or look for excuses as to why they drink nor do I care for guys that continue to keep drama going in their life to make them feel wanted or chased. If you're that type you need not inquire. I'm not trying to be rude. I just want to be up front and honest. :-) My ideal first date would be dinner and then a nice walk on the beach. I believe that's the best way to get to know someone, That way I'm able to set down and have a nice meal with good company and talk about our interests as well as our differences. Not everyone is a good fit, but most everybody is looking for the same thing. Just to be happy :-)

    Hi! I suppose this is the part where I market myself "for sale"...I have recently come to the conclusion that I am HORRENDOUSLY old fashioned.
