About Me

I did mean what I said in the "headline" RE: not being intersested in any kind of casual encounter. I am interested in meeting other people who are down to earth(or close to it- lol), who are sincere and honest, have a good sense of humor, true family values & morals and hopefully still believe in love and romance(at least a little). I'm hoping to meet other people like this, who share some of the same traits & values as me. *****Just an update here, regarding HONESTY, to me it is hands down one of the most important things to value in a partner & it most definitely needs to be there whole heartedly from both people. If you can't be honest with each other, than you can't trust each other. Maybe I'm missing something- but if so, you can skip my profile! Pretty sure- solid friendships & relationships are built on honesty & trust....take it or leave it. Decide if you'll make a stand- I know once I do, I'm there by your side through it all, no doubt about it. I also want to be clear about why I'm on this sight(seems to be a question I'm asked often). I can tell you that I'm here because I would LIKE to meet someone to become friends/connect with through similar interests, values, being able to have an intellectual conversation with ;-), etc...However, I am NOT on here because I NEED to have a man in my life....I love and appreciate my life the way that it is. I am head over heels in love with my amazing children, am blessed with some of the BEST friends anyone could ask for and a family that equally ROCKS- lmao...ok maybe got a little carried away there!!!!On a serious note though, hopefully most of the people(or a few- hahaha) will understand this! I love the gorgeous weather we get here & whenever possible you can find me spending time at the beach, going for walks, packing up a picnic & I love roller coasters, but can chill on the kiddie rides too(I have a 6 year old daughter & 7 year old son- they are the most amazing kids & I am so lucky!) I love having family & friends over for bbq's & to hang out with. On the flip side, every once in awhile(read as: once a year) I love to have a reason to pamper myself for a change, get dressed up from head to toe & go out to an eloquent restaurant or wine tasting. What can I say, I'm flexible!! :-) For the most part you will find me in very casual clothing & 99% of the time I'm a flip flop kinda girl! I also love going out to catch a great movie once in awhile or out for dinner, drinks or occasionally maybe even dancing- woot woot- lol! Who wouldn't love a crazy, fun night out once in awhile?! I think it's a great thing every now and then. I'm just definately not used too, or interested in staying out all night anymore(I'm lucky if I make it 'till 11:30pm hahaha). I can be just as happy and content being at home in the evenings. If things go well on meetville maybe I will find the right person to start spending my evenings with. Someone who would enjoy cuddling up on the couch watching(Bones, Criminal Minds, Breaking Bad, SVU, The Following) & horror movies(not the horrible, cheesy, chainsaw massacre kind either- I'm talking good horror movies, lol) with me!There is a lot more to learn about me- things that I wouldn't post on a dating sight(I've been kinda shocked at the way some people just let it all "hang out" right away- lol) If we connect, that's when I feel we'll start to learn more about each other! Something casual like meeting somewhere for coffee or a drink, so we can have a chance to talk in person & see if we "click". Let's keep it simple!

    I work hard and I like to play hard so when I get a free moment to myself I try to do things that interest me even if I have to do those things by myself but after awhile it sure would be nice to find someone that would enjoy doing those things with me other than my family (that sounds terrible but I love my family).I enjoy spending time with people who I care about. I sent him a message saying "I don't think you are interested anymore". He messages me back and tells me that he is only on meetville to find friends. My reply back (very cleverly I must add) was "Well in that case *** joining a "dating" site you could have just joined *** #2Just because I am not a Size 2 does not mean I am fat. Look at the age on my profile. None of us are the same size as we were in kindergarten. It is called the "aging" process (insert the visualization of me rolling my eyes). I think it is somewhat entertaining to met guys on this website who expect "perfection" when they are nowhere near that themselves (isn't that called hypocracy). With that said I am a good girl who goes to church just about every Sunday.I think that covers alot for now. Might add more depending on further experiences on here.
