I am a single mother with 3 children. My daughter is 18 and my sons are 13 and 9 yrs old. They keep me very busy with all of their interests in sports and extracurricular activities. My children are my biggest priority in life, which yes should go without saying but I've met guys who have had a problem understanding when I have to miss out on a night out & I've learned that not everyone makes their children a priority. I'm looking for someone who is family oriented. When I'm not working or hanging out with my kids I love to go see concerts and local live bands. My absolute favorite music is the 80's and 90's era. I can't get enough of those old bands! I also really enjoy going to see the local bands. There's nothing I love more than hanging out with friends and listening to live music or grilling out and having a bon fire during my down time. All of this makes me sound like a very social person but once in awhile I also like to just stay in, make dinner & watch movies. I really don't care for the bar scene much anymore on a regular basis. If you haven't grown out of the party phase yet or are going through a midlife crisis then you are not for me. I'm always open to trying new things and checking out new places. All of this is much more fun when you have someone to share it with. If nothing else I've made a few great friends on this site. I'm not in any hurry to rush into meeting. I like to get a feel for how we connect through conversation first. Whether that be through messages or talking on the phone. Don't invite me over to your boat or house the first day you send me a message! (That creeps me out lol) The first date is always so awkward! It's best to just meet for coffee or dinner first but it depends on our mutual interests. In my experience it takes a couple dates to know for sure if you are connecting with someone.
