I am 40 years old. I was married for almost 20 years.I lost my husband 3 years ago to cancer. I am experiencing the empty nest syndrome alittle early considering I had my children early, and they are now 19 and 23. I miss having day to day companionship and having someone to come home to. But at the same time , I have old fashioned values, and still believe in taking care of the person I'm with.
