I can be a little shy and reserved at first, but before long I'll be joking and laughing up a storm. You'll find I am a good listener, honest communicator, supportive friend, and I surround myself with people who are as well.I'm driven by intellectual pursuits and my career, but I also enjoy being active, working out at least 3 times a week (mostly Zumba). Nothing is more important than friends and family.- the neighborhood festivals, the restaurants, the theatre, the virtual absence of snow! What's not to like? (Don't say "the traffic"!)In my free time I enjoy watching movies, tv, and live theater, Zumba, Pilates, swimming, trying new restaurants, going to baseball games, playing trivia games, cooking, golfing, and reading. My ideal match will share most of my interests, broaden my horizons with additional interests, and challenge me intellectually.     Hi, ok.... so to be honest... the online dating thing is not something I was really comfortable with. However, after hearing several positive stories from friends and other people who have done it I decided it was worth a try! I have been in a few long term relationships but just was not going to settle and be one of those people who get married just to say they are married.
