My bestie has 5 kids ages 3 to 15 and 3 of them are special needs that she adopted and I love them like my own and will be taking some or all of them if something were to ever happen to her. I can catch 20 inch bass in my backyard and there are ducks and geese that live here so tame and friendly they eat from my hand and can be petted and held. It reminds me of being up north in our old cottage and thats why I chose it. I have some of the best neighbors that always looked out for me the 11 years thatI lived here alone. My dad lives with me now . I moved him in 18 months ago because his health was poor and he wasn't doing well living alone.I guess I sort of have a type. I'm a blue collar gal generally. Guys who can fix stuff, wear work boots. 5' oclock shadow, goatees , basically facial hair, not clean shaven, but not grizzly beards.... Also Rescue workers and firemen, AND truck drivers.. I dated a trucker and spent a summer on the road with him and loved every minute of being out there... fast food got old but that's my only complaint. I am intelligent and a bit of a closet nerd in the fact that i love sciences, documentaries, and battling my best friend while watching Jeopardy. I also love puzzles and games of skill. Just because I like blue collar men in general does not make me dumb nor does it mean I like "dumb" men. I've known tons of hard working, blue collar, strong men without "college desk jobs" who are extremly intelligent, witty and full of integrity. Being a blue collar guy isn't a requirement or a "must have" for me, it just tends to be what I gravitate towards. I am just a girl, looking for a good man to spend time with. I have a very healthy social life and find the same to be an attractive quality in others. I am independent and expect to maintain this lifestyle, whether single or in a relationship. I encourage my partner to do the same, but also hope that we are able to create a life together. I recently discovered Crossfit and I participate in WODs several times per week. I love the workouts, but have not become obsessive, as is often the case. I play golf, but my game leaves a lot to be desired. Last winter, I got back in to skiing after many years off the slopes. I'd like to get out there as much as possible this year. I'm typically happy to try anything new and am not afraid to laugh at myself (or at you, when warranted).
