Hi, ok.... so to be honest... the online dating thing is not something I was really comfortable with. However, after hearing several positive stories from friends and other people who have done it I decided it was worth a try! I have been in a few long term relationships but just was not going to settle and be one of those people who get married just to say they are married. I have been surrounded by a lot of really good, healthy relationships so I definitely know it is not worth settling when it comes to who you want to share your life with. A little about me....I am someone who is very close to their family (I love kids and cant get enough of my two little nephews!) and has a tight knit group of long time girlfriends who are there for me for anything. I do work hard and enjoy my career but then love to enjoy life and be away from work. I love traveling (love anywhere Troipical!), enjoy watching or going to Football games (Redskins and WVU fan here!), love going to the movies and eating out, and like to stay active by running, pilates, hiking, yoga, etc. At this point in my life I have focused on my career and truly just want to find that right person to have fun with and hopefully enjoy life with. I would love to find a guy who values family, friends, has ambition for something, is trustworthy and has integrity .....and can have fun and make me laugh!( not too long of a list, right?? Lol) I believe when you find that right person you make each other want to be a better person. Simply...that is what I am looking for. I am not looking for Mr. Perfect.....I am looking for Mr. Perfect for me. getting together for drinks is always a good start

Do you consider yourself to be a fun person, always trying to make people laugh? Do you like talking in silly voices and dancing to muzak in grocery stores? If that sounds like you, you may be a person I'd like to meet. I'm a fun-loving person always looking for my next adventure. I like spending time outside, hiking, camping, boating, or anything fun like that. I'm an art teacher, a semi-vegetarian (ok, I'll eat a hot dog if you put it in front of me, but I try not to eat a lot of meat), and a bunch of other stuff. I like spending my free time making things and developing art projects for kids, so I often have paint all over me. I've traveled in South America and Europe, and am hoping to take another big trip sometime soon. I'm looking for a fun-loving single guy aged ***who doesn't take himself too seriously. If you are active, relatively in shape, and like spending your weekends having big adventures, I think we could have fun together.Ok, I think that's plenty for now! Beer or wine is essential. If you want to get coffee, I like coffee, but dating is nerve-wracking. I'd probably order it with a shot of whiskey. Unless we are meeting for breakfast, of course. Then I'd have a beer. Just kidding. The date will be something short and sweet- We'll go from there- no big deal!

PLEASE READ: I don't want to waste anyone's time, including mine... IF you know you DON'T want to have kids/more kids, please read no further. Thank you. I figured people would figure out I want more kids by reading below, but they must not read it or believe it?I love to cook, relax or have an adventure, watch movies, eat/drink great food/drinks. I am a nurse and enjoy being around people. I have an 8 year old son and would love to have at least one more child. I have never been married but hope to be someday. I am not very religious but am ok with my mate having a preference as long as he is open-minded. I like many types of music but mostly alternative/rock/metal. I love to travel and could not be with someone that does not like to experience new cultures or thinks that their own is the only one that should be experienced. I have 2 dogs and would hope that any man interested in me would be kind to animals and children. Honestly, I would say a first date should start at a very casual place . But with that said, if it is obvious that things are going well for both parties, who knows, maybe continue date by taking a walk together, or meeting up later for a drink, etc.
