I'm not in a hurry or a serial dater. I'm just looking to meet one man i'd like to call my boyfriend someday. My profile says I do not want children but that just means at my age I'm not planning on birthing any, It's totally fine if you have children. My bestie has 5 kids ages 3 to 15 and 3 of them are special needs that she adopted and I love them like my own and will be taking some or all of them if something were to ever happen to her. I'm kid friendly and they love me like i'm candy flavored or something, lol. I just never had any of my own.I'm very loyal to those who are close in my life. I love the water and being near the water. It's like my version of church to be on the shore of an ocean or great lake. I dont need you to bait my hook or take my fish off. I'm a pro. meetville keeps putting my zipcode in the wrong city... by alot. Also I have a manufactured home/Trailer on a small lake and i love it! So if you are a property snob or have an issue with where or how i live then stop reading now and move on. I've been here 13 years by choice. I can catch 20 inch bass in my backyard and there are ducks and geese that live here so tame and friendly they eat from my hand and can be petted and held. It reminds me of being up north in our old cottage and thats why I chose it. I have some of the best neighbors that always looked out for me the 11 years thatI lived here alone. My dad lives with me now . I moved him in 18 months ago because his health was poor and he wasn't doing well living alone.I guess I sort of have a type. I'm a blue collar gal generally. Guys who can fix stuff, wear work boots. 5' oclock shadow, goatees , basically facial hair, not clean shaven, but not grizzly beards.... Also Rescue workers and firemen, AND truck drivers.. I dated a trucker and spent a summer on the road with him and loved every minute of being out there... fast food got old but that's my only complaint. I am intelligent and a bit of a closet nerd in the fact that i love sciences, documentaries, and battling my best friend while watching Jeopardy. I also love puzzles and games of skill. Just because I like blue collar men in general does not make me dumb nor does it mean I like "dumb" men. I've known tons of hard working, blue collar, strong men without "college desk jobs" who are extremly intelligent, witty and full of integrity. Being a blue collar guy isn't a requirement or a "must have" for me, it just tends to be what I gravitate towards.     Hello! Hard to know what all to write but I'll do my best. I have been a Graphic Designer for over 14 years now which I enjoy most of the time. I consider myself a fun person, I love to laugh and not get entangled in drama or gossip. I am a geek with most things. I like most kinds of music but hard core rap and country aren't my favorites. I enjoy classical, alternative, rock, dance, 80s, 90s, etc. I love to dance so music is important. I also like speakers and amps, etc to really enhance music and TV.I am not the typical girl, I consider myself more of a tomboy. I would say that I enjoy more the "guy" activities over the typical "girl" activities. Shopping isn't a fun thing for me, I don't fuss over my clothes or hair, I don't mind getting dirty, don't care about my nails, etc. I dress casual but I do like to dress up when time calls for it, who doesn't want to feel sexy?I think working out is important, I hit the gym at least 4 days a week to stay healthy and strong but I am far from being obsessed with it, if I cant go then that's ok.I like the simple things in life, I am not complicated and want someone who I can respect and will give respect in return. If a man has tons of rules for his lady then I am not the one for you, life and love shouldn't be so complicated. Communication is important to me too, no assumptions...I don't read minds!Hope I have given a small window into my world, I know there is more I can say but this is already too much of a novel! I think a good first date would be something simple like meeting for drinks at a restaurant to talk or having dinner somewhere would be fine too.
