I march to the beat of my own drum. Meaning I am me and I like who I am and who I am becoming. I like to have fun and I will try most things at least once you never know what you might like until you try it. Every day is a gift and a new adventure. I love learning new things and seeing the world all shinny and new through the eyes of my son. I am a people person and I learned a long time ago most of the time it is better to listen. I am presently on the greatest adventure ever raising my eleven year old son. I think at some point I would like to go back to school. lol I am one of those strange ppl who actually enjoy school and learning and discovering new things. I love all sorts of books, music, movies and pc games. I am also obsessed with Wicked right now, what can I say I am defying gravity!!! The last show i watched was Doctor Who. Both myself and my son love that show. Lol but there was a huge surprise plot twist with a cliff hanger and now I have to wait until the fall to find out what happens. Lol like i said i love trying new things so that tends to affect the pop culture I am interested in at the time. As far as a first date goes it depends on a lot a things like what both ppl are interested in how much time we have and what have you. Lol so i am always up for something fun as long as we have time to really talk :)

Been here before... gonna try it again. After a hiatus I have realized I am bored and want to start meeting people again. I realize I had unrealistic expectations about what I will find with online dating. So I will take a different appproach this time around and see what happens.I have a job...and work 40 hours a week. I am a mother 24 hours a day 7 days a week. But my son is 17 and doesn't need me very much these days. So I do have some free time. I prefer being busy and not sitting on the couch especially in the summertime. I go to the gym at least 2 days a week but shoot for 4 days a week if possible. My biggest turnoff and total deal breaker is a man that dips, or chews...that is just nasty and I can't handle it. Sorry!.(helloooo Maverick)TV Shows: Greys Anatomy, Private Practice, Biggest Loser, The Amazing Race, Big Brother, Project Runway, The Middle Food: Italian hands down.... But I would not turn down PF Changs either! Who am I kidding I love food period which is why I practically live at the gym. :-) Music: top 40 and country and of course being a Gen Xer gotta love 100.5 (I guess it just depends on my mood). FYI: I am HIGHLY allergic to cats, so no in house dates if you have Mr. Whiskers running around your crib. :-) depends on the season and what we are comfortable doing at the time. The Overlook restaurant has my vote too. Maybe a race or two at Kart Kountry loser buys dinner?
