I do tend to come across as a tough girl hard as nails with a rough exterior. But once you get to know me I have the biggest heart I just tend to keep it hidden. But it is just a defense mechanism. With that being said I am loyal to a fault. I would give you the shirt off my back if I thought you needed it and you and I were friends (or more). I like to do the little things. I believe actions speak louder than words. You can say I love you a thousand times but if you don't show it it doesn't mean a damn thing. I am sarcastic so watch out.I am looking for an equal loving partner, who is dependable, stable, hardworking with the same values who can communicate. Who is comfortable with himself and indepedant. Who likes to spend time together as well as with his own friends. I do not have to be joined at the hip with my man. I do not want a guy who already has children. I am sure you who have children are great guys and are wonderful dads I just don't want to date you. I want to come first in the relationship and my partner to be first. If you come with a child I will never be first nor would I expect to be. You also come with an ex who will always be part of the relationship and I just don't want to start a new relationship off that way. With my job I see all of the heartache this brings and I would rather be honest and just say I don't want to start off this way. I am sure I am missing out on some great guys but I am willing to take that hit to be a priority. It is hard enough starting a relationship with two people let alone more.If all you are looking for is to get laid? Crawl up a chicken's butt and wait. I look before I leap. I respect your aproach to life, you respect mine. Plus let's be honest no matter how well you know someone that first time with anyone is always awkward and not the best. So it really should be with someone you care about so you can laugh about it and make it really rock the next time. I am big on family. I spend lots of time with mine. My parents have been married for over 42 years and have set a standard. There is nothing wrong with me being 35 and never married with no children. I only want to be married once and expect to stay that way. I want to raise my children in the same type of household I grew up in. I was never in a rush to do so. Yes I have been in long term relationships and I have had my heart broken. I have the strength to know what I want and not to settle. Life is too short.Each relationship I have been in has taught me something. Sometimes it was a harsh lesson to learn but it was obviously something I was supposed to know. (sometimes I had to learn the lesson more than once :) )I want to travel to Australia. I am scuba diver but it has been a while since I have dove. But I would really like to dive there. I would also like to see the galapogos (not sure that is spelled right) islands and swim with the turtles. I used to be terrifed of sharks. But my big brother being the loving brother he was made my first dive after certification a shark dive and a shark feed. So I am cured of that. LOL Our family is known for traveling together when we can. Which is awesome. I have been skiing (water) since I was 6. But spending the weekends with my brother and friends at the lake can be fun. But I will be honest and say I didn't go one time in ***. But this year is my year to return. Who knows? Depends on the person

    I am the kind of person who values simple things, country living, and animals. I have 2 fur babies- a husky and a rotti and I can't imagine a life without dogs. I try not to take anything for granted and my friends describe me as being a very kind, giving, compassionate,and hard working person.
