Well, back into the dating scene I go. The last year has been rough when it comes to relationships and yes I might have a bit of baggage associated with it. Favorite Music-I like all types but metal, hair bands and some country are my favorite. I enjoy nature and being outside. long walks, roller-blading, kayaking, white-water rafting, I like to be in or near the water. I like amusement parks, antiques and garage sales, coffee shops, regional market, live music venues, festivals, movies, horseback riding, camping and gardening. I enjoy the simple things in life like going for a ride in the country with some good music and the windows down and then going for ice cream or sitting on a dock watching the sunset. Sometimes I just like entertaining friends at home with a cookout. I try to eat healthy and therefore I cook quite a bit. I am continuing my education towards a Bachelors degree in Nursing. I have a black lab that is my closest companion, and I love our daily walks-(its good for both of us). I also enjoy volunteering as often as I can with various organizations. I just got my motorcycle license this past fall and hope to be riding before the end of the summer, as soon as I find a bike. I own my home and do a lot of DIY projects, I'd like to think I'm fairly handy and self-sufficient but by no means an expert. I am very independent and would choose to do things alone as opposed to being around people whose company I don't enjoy. I like people who know how to communicate and carry on a conversation but are comfortable enough with themselves to also have times of silence where we just enjoy being together. I would probably prefer a first meeting to be low-key like a coffee shop or park that allows for conversation. If we make a connection then we can go on a date but there's no point in one or both being obligated to sit through a long, awkward dinner with each other if you didn't hit it off to begin with.
