About Me

Yes it's lengthy yet worth the time to read....About me, I needed a time out from dating to focus on myself and figure out what it is what I want out of life. My child is older and is out of home. This now gives me some free time to explore. I do not look or act or dress my age so don't be misled thinking I'm a stuffy old broad. I like to go out, have fun, sit in pubs with friends and eat wings and such. You may find me at the bar with the girls once a year. However, I do know how to 2 step no matter what state of mind I'm in. To keep myself sane, feel womanly, and perhaps escape from reality I do enjoy sitting at home reading a book. Not that I've spent time in prison but I enjoy being in the kitchen and like to take on D.I.Y. projects that are perhaps lost amongst the younger generation. I even own a tool box with a variety tools and know how to use them. Some may be pink but they do the job. I do like quiet times at home but more so enjoy feeling like I'm a part of the human race and attend festivals, car shows, concerts, dining out or taking a walk with no destination in mind. When I feel like I'm about to lose my marbles, I like to take a road trip across the border or Winnipeg and do a bit of shopping. I grew up on a small farm and have been a city girl for many years and do find myself missing the peace and quiet that I grew up with. Being in the outdoors out of town is where I feel I'm complete. It's been awhile since I've been camping, fishing or boating. I have been hauling gear around for years waiting to use but have not found that person to share those experiences with. I have spent a lot of time out at the lake as a kid and still try to with my family. I'm spontaneous and out going. According to others I'm funny, witty, sarasctic and inappropriate for my pervertedness.What I'm looking for is a man who knows what he wants in a woman, knows how to respect a woman, is honest and independent. He doesn't have to have all of the same interests as me as there will be times we'll get sick of each other and will need a time out. If you are still hung up on your ex and ones you have dated, you are not ready to move forward. I would rather you not waste my time and have you play head games with me. I have this type in my mind that we should kind of look the same age or have the same sense of style. If I look 10 years younger and you look 10 years older it would look like father and daughter. Unlike most other woman I'm not into the cowboy/farmer look. Regarless where you bought your Wranglers or how tight they are they still do not float my boat. If you feel you may be up for a challenge, I am now accepting resumes. Immature BS'ers need not apply. Messaging etiquette (a great way to p**s me off) :):)...If I don't respond to your first message within a couple hours do not proceed to send multiple messages or something *** try to make me feel bad. I am an adult that works and has a life as should you. Patience goes along way. The possibilities are endless. However, not a fan of going to a movie. You can't have a conversation and there's that awkward moment of touching hands while reaching in the popcorn.

    Alright listen up....lol...me in a nutshell? I'm mostly described as 'a cool chick' lol...i'm not a girly girl, i'm a tomboy....have always been just one of the guys..you can blame my daddy for that. :) But don't misunderstand, I'm still a girl and like to go get my nails done and such..lol...I just prefer doing other things...for example I would rather be out in the shop working on a vehicle, up playin in the dirt, or out playin on the water *** several hours shopping and getting irritated by people..lol I mean I like 'stuff'...I just hate spending time going to get it. :) So I love just about anything outdoors...bonfires (year round of course), camping, fishing, shooting guns, riding quads, boating, sledding...the list goes on...then theres times i rather kick back at home and not do much of anything... but my number one absolute favorite activity?...spending time with my 2 boys...they are my world and I wont pass up any opportunity I get to hang out with them...besides they think I'm a pretty kicka** mom ;)...who do you think taught them how to throw a perfect spiral? swing a golf club, and had them in head gear with boxing gloves sparring with each other at 3 & 4? lol...to be tough but always ALWAYS respectful? yup..this girl..lol they are awesome..and i am one proud momma..but like a daddy protects his little girl......fast..very very fast and far away...lolSo to sum it all up...i am a total dork at times, love to laugh be goofy and have fun...i have a mouth of a drunken sailor, but still have a few manners intact lol, i will always do what i can for those i care about no matter what, and one of my BIGGEST peeves is if someone says theyre gonna do something i expect it to be done...especially if it effects the outcome of something..i have a few more but you'll have to figure it out on your own..lol All in all i live by this motto...'get what you give'....its not rocket science people....i mean seriously...my kids know exactly what it means...it applies to everything in life....think about it.:) ....'I'm a handful!!! I'm strong willed, independant & outspoken...I make mistakes, am sometimes out of contol and at times hard to handle...but if you can't handle me at my worst then you sure as hell dont deserve me at my best!!.....couldnt havw said it better myself...lol be creative...surprise me :)

    ***Time for an update!! Ok..so..we can see how "my best friend" has not arrived! Would still love to find him, but until then, I'm just gonna have to go with life and see what's in store for me. We never know what life is gonna hand us unless we get out there and take chances. Besides...we can never havetoo many friends...right??? So let's start with friends....might turn into Best *** .I don't put up with liars,cheaters, thieves, or any kind of abuse toward my kids or myself! So if you are still reading this, that's a good thing. If you are any of the above, MOVE ON!.I would love to actually find someone worth spending time with...you know...someone REAL! NOT FULL OF GAMES.I love to have fun, & all I want is MY special someone to spend time with. I have been divorced for 11 yrs. I have 2 sons....17 & 21. I don't want to grow old alone, however, I will not settle just because I don't want to be alone either. All I want is my best friend to grow old and enjoy life with. I love my friends, that is why it is SO important to me to meet my BEST FRIEND...my SOUL MATE if you will ;-). Traveling, Camping, Fishing, Hiking, or just a nice evening either going out to dinner and a movie or a Comedy Club or catching a concert. Cooking in and watching a movie snuggled together on the couch sounds great too! I am very easy to get along with. I know my Best Friend/Lover is out there somewhere....and obviously I haven't done such a great job at finding him....so I am leaving it in GOD'S hands...AND YOURS...LOL;-} .....here comes the fine print...please read carefully....(must like kids & me..lol ;-) If you DO drink MORE than just "SOCIALLY"...PLEASE STATE SO...OR JUST PLAIN SAY "YES"!!...DON'T SUGAR COAT IT!! This means, if you have more than ***drinks *** our FIRST meeting, WHAT THE HECK IS THE REST OF IT GONNA BE LIKE???!!!)...OK, OK, I know..most of that wasn't SO FINE!!! Just don't want an alcoholic or druggie in my child or my life!! I definitely love my family & friends & yours would automatically fit right into mine ;-} I don't have alot of family left...but would be willing to adopt yours if you would let me ;-) Anything Fun....You now know what I enjoy....so surprise me! LOLBy the way, I do love going to Sporting events! Baseball, Basketball, & Football, Nascar...those are the only pro games I have been to....but I would love to go to other games as well! I also love hunting & camping. I guess you could say I am a Girlie Girl with a bit of tomboy in me...LOL You never know what you like until you try it...RIGHT? But it would need to be somewhere we can talk and get to know each other on our first date. And if you are the romantic type that likes to bring flowers,, my favorite is Orchids ;-)
