Spending all day boating = No (I get seasick easy.)And Hiking = Yes; Camping = No (unless it's a cabin with running water, I've spent to many nights in flooded tents.) Meet for Coffee or appetizers and a drink somewhere where it's easy to converse without being drowned out by loud noises or maybe meet up and play some bocce or shoot some pool.
