Outgoing, fun and intense mom of twins! I am an endurance athlete and love to train and work out! I compete at all distances of triathlons both at a national and world level. Hi! I'm a fun-loving person in south KC. I moved here in ***and work as a digital product manager for a local publishing company. I'm not religious and politically I'm left of center. I have a son who is an adult now and on his own...I guess music deserves its own category. it's great!), Arcade Fire, both Jacks: Jack White and Jack Black ;) OK Go - video pioneers and love the music too! Jazz, rock, blues, reggae, and jam bands... I also listen to a lot of public radio. my favorite radio station is www.kexp.org. I recently saw Weird Al in concert and I think I sprained my face laughing so hard! I like old movies, especially from the 30's and 40's, ie Casablanca, Gone with the Wind, Double Indemnity, An Affair to Remember, All About Eve;..I don't want to dwell a lot on the negative, so I won't list too many of my dislikes! I don't eat meat, I'm for universal healthcare, medical marijuana and peace and diplomacy before war, and for some reason cilantro tastes awful to me. (I would love to love it! I might need help!) I'm not a big sports fan, altho I can get sucked into the occasional game, and I'm not likely to be seen at any Def Leppard concerts. Also I am highly sensitive to discrimination, bigotry, and *** sing and play the flute in a jazz trio, and also work with a local organization, Move to Amend, which seeks to overturn the Citizens United supreme court decisions allowing unlimited corporate campaign funding. (Here's my shameless plug, for more info visit movetoamend.org). Otherwise I'm hanging out with friends. I'm a very social animal and can't sit home along for long without losing my mind. While my cats are cute and cuddly, conversations with them tend to be very one-sided! I'm seeking someone who is very funny and quick-witted. Moderate drinker a plus, (wine connoisseurs are always good!), but I must insist: don't be married. I love stimulating conversation, pointless pontification, silliness and offbeat humor.
