I am the kind of person that finds joy in the simple things in life. I like to go walking in the park, go to movies, go biking in the park, go to the zoo or aquarium, travel, go to coffee shops or book stores, try new foods and explore new restaurants, go to shows (symphony, theatre, ballet), go to art museums, go to amusement parks, swim, go to beach or water parks etc. I'm not into the bar scene at all, so if you like to do that even in the slightest bit, don't hit me up. I am an artist/musician/poet. So I really would like to continue to grow in those areas, write more music, write more poetry, play more music (I play the cello), draw and paint more etc. and continue to be more creative in my artisticness. I am also a music teacher, so I want to continue to make a difference in the lives of children.My personality is very laid back. One of my favorite things to do is laugh. I don't like to take life too seriously, life is too short. I am very genuine, what you see is what you get. I am also very compassionate and tender hearted. I can also be very passionate when I am talking about something that is very important to me. I am single, never married, no children. I definitely want kids someday.     I am a teacher and I love my job. My students keep me on my toes, and laughing at their brutal honesty. I spend a good deal of my time trying to teach children to be kind, tell the truth and to say nice things so it'd be great if my significant other has already learned these lessons.I am easy going and would describe myself as an optimist. I can have an equally good time going out or staying in. I enjoy a good beer or a glass of wine with good friends.     *UPDATE* ***I'm currently in contract to buy my first house and an due to close soon! Yay! Also training for Hero Rush. Next step returning to school and getting a newer car!I have been through quite a bit over the last few years, and I've decided to make ***the year I take back control of my life. I'm currently making plans to return to school with the hopes of getting into UF's Pharmacy program. I am working towards home ownership. I have become way more fit and healthy and am always striving to be more so.I am fair-skinned, with dark reddish brown hair that is fairly long and very curly. My eyes fluctuate from blue to green, depending upon the amount light and to an extent my mood. I have all my teeth. Except my baby teeth and wisdom teeth. :-D I have no tattoos at this point in time and the only piercings are boring old earring holes. Once my belly is flat(ish) I may get it pierced in celebration!I am 5'5" and average size, though curvier and larger than I would like (hence my working out). I have a bubble butt! I have actually lost a fair amount of weight this year, and am working on getting even more fit. Sure I like to look at pretty boys, but if there isn't much substance I won't be interested for long.I do not *need* a man. I can change my own car battery, mow my own lawn, pay my bills just fine, and take care of my own needs just fine.
